Bridge Tower Parking

Review: I entered into an agreement to garage my car here on a monthly basis beginning in July of 2013 at a rate of $359.19/mo. My "contract", which is really an application form states that "Space rented on yearly basis". I was required to pay first and last month's rent totalling $718.38 (I paid by check), an unusual arrangement for a parking garage, but I agreed. Payments were paid on time through December. However, I received a bill at the end of December for over $400 for the month of January. When I called to complain, I was told that the rate being increased as of the beginning of the year. When I pointed out that my "contract" states that the space is rented on a yearly basis, the representative, [redacted], later informed me that they would honor the rate only through February. When I called in February, hoping that they would maintain my original rent, but was told they would not, I informed them that I intended to vacate at the end of the month. They requested that I return my parking sticker along with a letter stating my intent to vacate at the end of the month, which I did. I was assured by [redacted] that I would be refunded the last month's rent since I paid through the end of February.

By April, I had not received any refund, and I called [redacted] to inquire. I've called her on 4/*/14, 5/**/14, 5/**/14, 6/**/14, and 6/**/14; each time being told by [redacted] that she would check into it and get back to me. She has never contacted me, nor even disputed that I am due a refund. Bridge Tower Parking has simply chosen to ignore my requests for the refund of $359.19 that I am owed. I paid nine months of rent but parked here for only eight. I have never been informed that I did not meet any obligation as a renter and would be denied a refund of my "security". I can only assume that they hope I will simply give up as I now park elsewhere.
