I had one session with this client, [redacted] on 10/11/17. The second session (10/18/17) I had to cancel due to an unexpected medical emergency in my family. Mr. [redacted] signed a contract with me in which he agreed to at least a 48-hour advance notice of cancellation. (1011/17) I will...
send a copy of that document to the Revdex.com. I received an email from Mr. [redacted]'s wife three hours before the scheduled third visit 10/25/17). My contract specifically asks for clients to call or text. I charged him $200 for a one-time visit which I have charged others in the past in my 12 years of business.
Attached is the agreement that Mr. [redacted] signed. Also, he did not pay “upfront”. As you will see from the credit card transaction, he paid after the first session was complete. At that time he did not mention that the information and techniques that were presented were not what he expected. He left with all the printed materials and several techniques to practice at home in preparation for his second session. I needed to delay the second session on October 18 because my 91 year old mother was found unconscious and I needed to go to the ER to be with her. I got the call from the paramedics at 10:54. After several family calls and a drive to the hospital via my office to get the [redacted] numbers, I contacted Mr. [redacted] at 12:23 at his number and left a message and then I called his wife at her number and left another message apologizing for the last minute postponement for his 1:30 appointment. I called the [redacted]s again on 10/20 at 4:48 on [redacted]’s number and again at 6:13 on his home number. I left messages apologizing for the inconvenience and that I would be happy to reschedule at any time – even over the weekend – and that I would give him extra time if he needed it. [redacted]
