We are very sorry this customer became ill after eating at our restaurant, and will issue the requested refund as soon as we receive a mailing address We pride ourselves iin going to great lengths to accommodate special dietary needs (our menu is 90% available gluten-free, much more than most restaurants), and we take great care to prevent any cross-contamination in the preparation of special items; however, we our menu states clearly that we are not a gluten-free facility, and we are very sorry if an accidental lapse occurred Since this incident took place several months ago and at the height of our very busy summer season, I can't recall all the details, but I believe the reason we may have objected to the disputed charge is because we felt any beverages consumed should still be paid for Neither the server nor the manager at the time are employed by us any longer

As I indicated previously, I would be happy to send the customer a refund.  The customer states that I have their address on file; if so, I have lost or mis-placed it.  If they can re-send it, I will respond immediately with a refund.
