I am rejecting this response because: Their own technician recommended I buy these parts at *** *** or ***'s as many customers do I called Gaithersburg Plumbing the day after they failed to complete the job, after charging me over $to cut a large hole (see attached picture) in my wall in order to perform the installation in an attempt to get them to come back and finish the job The manager from Gaithersburg Plumbing that I spoke with on the phone was rude, discourteous and disrespectful to me, a customer who just spent way to much money to get nothing accomplished I called another plumber who successfully installed these same "defective" parts.This project began as a very simple leaky tub faucet All I really wanted to have done was to have that leak fixed Instead, this turned into a huge project, an argument with a vendor and a monumental expense I'm pretty sure that if I had called the second plumber first, they would have simply fixed the leaky faucet.Regards,

The customer provided his own parts for our company to install. The technician (plumber) spent four hours installing these parts. Upon completion it was discovered the parts are defective and were provided to us defective from the customer. We cannot warranty customer provided parts. The customer...

was offered initially a flat rate of $435.00 which included our parts, labor, travel and warranty; however, he refused this offer and chose to purchase materials from the local hardware store. It would be unfair to our company to refund this amount as we have provided the requested service, and cannot be blamed for faulty parts we did not supply. His request for refund is unreasonable.
