insurance until they arrived for their examination. Before this complaint, the balance had been forgiven and there are notes to not contact the patient. The doctor did understand the patient’s condition, performed a proper examination and developed a treatment plan. Further treatment was recommended, but not elected due to cost. We do not feel that the comments about the doctor not knowing what she was doing were not valid since they were not expressed anything of the sort until after there were money concerns. We never intended to cause distress or provide inaccurate information. The balance has been written off to zero. At the patient’s request, our practice will not contact them again. If the patient’s mother would like to move forward with treatment of her child’s vision condition, we are happy to help when they are ready.   Thank you, Bright Eyes Vision Clinic, PA
