Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because in addition to what the EOB from my insurance company states after much discussion prior to agreeing to services *** offered me additional discounts to entice me to spend the money and have the services performed*** assured me
more than once that any additional money received above what was due from my insurance company would be credited to my Care Credit Card.
I have attached my Bright Now! Dental statement reflecting an estimated balance due from insurance of $after all payments and adjustments were applied to the services rendered including: $paid in cash, $adjustment coupon, and $1,paid from Care Credit Card Indeed $1,was received by Bright Now! Dental from my insurance carrier, Ameritas and per the Bright Now! Dental statement dated 6/6/$was due after adjustmentsA credit of $should be credited to my Care Credit account as agreed.
I have requested on multiple occasions a final statement reflecting the application of the $1,received from my insurance company, but to date Bright Now!Dental has been unresponsive
Regards,*** ***
Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:
I am writing to reject the response that I have received from Bright Now Dental Corp
I have read their response and take issue with the fact that it does not address all of the concerns in our complaint. It is true that the disputed charge is for the root canal and crown, however, we have had to endure and have already paid for other services that were met with a lack of professionalism and customer serviceThese were outlined but not addressed in their response to you
This was the last strawWe tried to negotiate, but was the only offer
If they change their mind, we would be willing to negotiate again

A[redacted] was seen in our office on November 27, 2015. Treatment was...
accepted and completed at standard care. Patient's wife M[redacted] admitted that there is nothing wrong with her
husband's root canal or crown. Patient's wife demanded a full refund due to her husband's temporary crown falling out two times. Patient was explained that temporaries do fall out.
We cannot accommodate her request amount because it is not unreasonable.

Review: During the months of April to June 2014 I received services from Bright Now! Dental on Sycamore in Simi Valley, CA. When discussing financing options, Danny suggested I open a Care Credit Account for the portion of my services not covered by insurance. I explained to Danny that I had some carry over funds of $334 that would be applied to this service as well because I thought the amount charged to the credit account was overstated. Danny assured me that any additional money received from my insurance would be credited back to my Care Credit Account, instead of sending me a check for the overage to which we were in agreement. I subsequently received a Bright Now! Dental Statement dated May 6, 2014 showing the charges, payments, adjustments and the estimated* insurance balance of $858 (*Insurance amount is estimated based on information provided by you and your insurance carrier. You are responsible to pay any balance not paid by the insurance). My insurance company subsequently paid $1,226 on my behalf $368 in excess. I began calling Danny at Bright Now! Dental to resolve the credit matter beginning on 6/12/14 and ending 7/18/14 when he stopped returning my calls. I called [redacted] at the Irvine, CA billing office to request an updated statement showing how the insurance company payment had been applied to my account. After 6 minutes of conversation [redacted] transferred me to billing where I got an automated attendant, left a message that has never been returned. On 7/31/14 I wrote a letter to Bright Now! Dental, Simi Valley, Dr. James LaRocco and to the Bright Now! Dental billing office in Irvine, CA requesting an updated statement and an explanation of how the $1226 from my insurance company for my dental work had been applied and requesting $368 credit to my Care Credit account as mutually agreed prior to treatment. I sent these letters certified on 8/4/14 delivered to Irvine 8/6/14 and Simi Valley 8/7/14. To date I have received no statement, no explanation and no response from either entity.Desired Settlement: Please credit $368 to my Care Credit Account or mail the refund to me directly via certified mail.
