Review: The Bright Skys Cleaning Service was hired to clean our home on Friday, March 21, 2014. The cleaning was horrible. The owner [redacted] promised numerous services and cleaning tasks that were not performed by the cleaning crew of [redacted] and [redacted]. Below are our concerns and complaints: There needs to be a follow up visit for cleaning and payment for our broken window.

Below is the email outlining our complaints that was forwarded to the owners of Bright Skys Cleaning on Friday, March 21, 2014.

When your cleaning crew arrived at my house, the first thing your employee named [redacted] said was that, "I'm so frustrated, I just got a flat tire". She was irritated before she even started working in my house. She also stated that she had told [redacted] that he needed to get a spare tire, but he never did. So, she was frustrated before she even entered my home and started the cleaning. Upon arrival to my home your employee named [redacted] stated that it would take 2 hours. I stated "oh, I thought [redacted] said up 3 to 4 hours. When I met with [redacted] he stated that if anything was wrong with the services, please let the staff know. I waited in my basement for them to clean from 3:35 pm until 6:30 pm when I came upstairs to see what was going on. At that time, I checked the hall bathroom and the master bathroom and there was hair and dust in the corners and under the bathroom cabinets and around the toilets. The problem was identified and I told [redacted]. She immediately got an attitude and didn't want to re-service the bathroom. She sent the other employee upstairs to look at what I was talking about. The other employee came in the bathroom to repeat the cleaning, but didn't clean it any better. There is still hair and dirt behind the bathroom door on the floor.

[redacted] also stated that [redacted] told her that our house was all carpet. OUR home has never been all carpet. There seems to be miscommunication within the company as well.

You are complaining about how long they were in my house, well, it wasn't my fault. I sat downstairs in my basement waiting to hear that they were finished.

Below is the list of what was sent to me in an email from [redacted] detailing what was supposed to be cleaned.

SCOPE OF WORKMASTER BEDROOM - REFRESH MATTRESS - UNZIPPER COVER - I was told by [redacted], your employee, that it looked like the bed was already made, so she didn't think she had to make it up. I said, "[redacted] told me that the crew was going to do the mattress refresh and the bed, but that didn't happen either". She made the bed very poorly.

MASTER BATHROOM - Was NOT CLEANED...The master bathroom floor is dirty with hair and dirt on toilet. Dust on top of door frame. (This was supposed to be taken care of with the tornado dusting that [redacted] stated his staff uses).

GUEST ROOM - ON RIGHT OF MASTER BEDROOM - Dust on the ceiling fan and on the desk.

**DO NOT CLEAN 2 BEDROOMS TO THE LEFT OF HALL BATHROOM AS REQUESTED BY CLIENT** - Correct, I requested not to clean my daughter's bedrooms.

HALL BATHROOM - Was NOT CLEANED...There is hair and dirt on the floor behind the door and under the cabinets along the floor. The bottom of the toilet is also dirty. I was told that the bathroom floors are cleaned with hands, but the cleaning crew used a mop. [redacted] stated that they didn't use their hands and he will find out why later.

HALL - appears to be vacuumed.

STAIRS - vacuumed - however, the staircase is dusty and dirty.

OFFICE - dust remains on the top of bay window seal and atop of the door.

LIVING ROOM - appears to be vacuumed. However, the window behind the couch is cracked. Need to find out from Bright Skys how the window was cracked.

DINING ROOM - appears to be vacuumed.

KITCHEN - FREE OVEN CLEAN - DEGREASE CABINETS - cabinets above the microwave still greasy and front of oven is still greasy.

EATING AREA - Glass table spotty and half cleaned.

FAMILY ROOM - Ceiling fan wasn't dusted, some pictures are dusty and the shelf with pictures was not cleaned or dusted completely.

LAUNDRY ROOM - ENTRANCE TO GARAGE - Cleaned the floor.

POWDER ROOM - Bathroom floor and toilet is still dirty with hair and dirt.

FOYER - ONLY HARDWOOD IN HOME - Hardwood floor wasn't cleaned good, because the cleaning crew was rushing and stated that they were ready to go and would clean that last. After inspecting the floor, the wood isn't clean at the staircase and along the walls.

NO BASEMENT - no request for basement cleaning was included.

*WINDOWS, LEDGES, AND BLINDS INCLUDED* - All blinds were not cleaned properly. Some window ledges are not dusted and blinds are still dirty as well.

**BASEBOARDS - DUST AND CLEAN** - All baseboards are not clean.

[redacted]TORNADO CLEAN IN ALL AREAS[redacted] - the house was not dusted properly; it doesn't appear from our inspection that this type of cleaning actually took place. The vents were not cleaned, even though they are listed on the "residential cleaning checklist".

[redacted]SOAP SM TREATMENT AND MOLD/MILDEW TREATMENT IN EACH BATHROOM[redacted] - This treatment was promised and never happened.

It's unfortunate that we did not receive adequate cleaning services and still have areas that were promised to be clean, that are still dirty. As customers we are totally dissatisfied and request that you complete the services within 24 hours of this email. If not, your payment will be voided.

Your cleaning crew did not dust the house properly and now you want to blame it on the ducks and vents in the house. [redacted] visited the house and never stated that it was too dusty for them to clean. I thought this company was professional residential cleaners.

The window behind our couch in the living room is cracked on the bottom. The window seal and blind was pulled up by your cleaning crew and the glass was cracked on the bottom. Please explain how that happened.

We have videoed and pictured the entire house of the areas that are not cleaned and we are requesting the owners ([redacted] and [redacted] of Bright Skys Cleaning) to have the cleaning services completed within 24 hours.

Your immediate attention to this matter is appreciated.

This information was forwarded to the owners of Bright Skys Cleaning ServicesDesired Settlement: The company Bright Skys Cleaning is being asked by us to either complete the cleaning services or void the payment requested. Also, replace or compensate monetarily for the damaged window in our living room. The glass was broken and it has never been seen by me or my family prior to today (March 21, 2014). There needs to be a thorough review of the company, because the employees seem to be in a hurry and not too concerned about ensuring that the home was cleaned properly. The employee named [redacted] asked me for payment before they were even finished with the cleaning.

To Whom It May Concern: On March 21, 2014, Bright Skys Cleaning Service, Inc. was hired by [redacted] for residential house cleaning. When the cleaning crew , [redacted] and [redacted], arrived at the home, they did have a flat tire. I informed [redacted], who is an assistant manager, that I was on my way to the location and proceed with the cleaning. When I arrived, I took the flatten tire for repaired. When I returned at 6:30pm, the girls had been cleaning for four hours and thirty minutes. I did an on-site inspection of the areas that were cleaned. [redacted] informed me that due to the heavy dust in the ventilation system, areas that were dusted were becoming dusty again due to the vents. When the heat would kick on, dust would come out of the vents and settled on the cleaned areas. I visually experienced it myself. I inquired where [redacted]. [redacted] was and was informed she was in the basement. I called for her to come up and did not receive a reply. The other crews were arriving at the office and I needed to get back and check then in. I explained to [redacted] to inform [redacted]. [redacted] of the issue and finish the cleaning, which was now entering hour number 5. On my way back to the office, [redacted] phoned me to inform me that [redacted]. [redacted] was refusing to pay for her clean due to her dissatisfaction. [redacted] stated that [redacted]. [redacted] was yelling at her and [redacted] and use racial remarks towards them. I then called and spoke with [redacted]. [redacted]. I informed her about the ventilation system, to which she became irate and belligerent. I informed her that the crew was there for 5 hours and that they were done. I asked that she pay for the services we provided and she fused again. she stated that I was unprofessional and demanded that I return to her home with the crew or we could forget her payment. I told her that I was at her home, I experienced why she was seeing the dust reappear, and that payment was needed because services was complete. She yelled at me, cussed at me, and then hung up. I called my crew and informed them to leave the residence and return to the office. I called the police, who informed me that they could not become involved and the matter was a case that could be settled by court.As for the broken window, Bright Skys is not responsible. We do not open the windows. We clean the blinds, the ledges and the trim around the windows. When I asked [redacted] about the window, she stated that the window was cracked prior to our arrival. Bright Skys Cleaning Service, Inc. will not assume any liability for the window.Furthermore, Bright Skys Cleaning Service, Inc., will not return to [redacted]. [redacted]'s residence for follow up cleaning. [redacted]. [redacted]'s actions that day were rude and belligerent. I am rejecting this response because: The owner of Bright Skys Cleaning is lieing about the incident. He didn't inspect my home when he came to fix the tire. Nor did he call for me in the house. He is making up lies because he wanted to get paid without cleaning my home. I do not want Bright Skys Cleaning to return to my home ever! Also, they are falsely advertising their services. They have no intention of completing the services nor do they conduct themselves professionally. The fact that I wouldn't settle for the mediocre cleaning attempt that they provided made the owner [redacted] very upset and threatened me with the police. The owners of this company should really be asshamed of themselves for the numerous lies that they are repeating. They lied about the services that they would provide and have no desire except to get paid for terrible cleaning services.I don't want them to return to my home ever again!

Your home was very filthy, the condition we left in was GREAT compare to what it looked like before Bright Skys Cleaning. Let's start with the bedrooms: they were so dusty that we had to vacuum dust to remove the dust because wiping was not enough, clutter every where, baseboards were stained and very dusty, Window Ledges and blinds full of dust, Under beds and dressers, nothing but dust and clutter. It was evident that these areas had not been cleaned in at least 6 or more months. What ever dust kept reappearing in the home was clearly coming from the duct work which the client was informed. The Bathrooms: these areas were very heavy, it was evident due to the mold, mildew and soap SM build up around showers and sinks. Client was also informed that the mold was so severe her caulking may need replacement and it's not a service we provide. There was clutter in the bathrooms and had been visible that they have not been cleaned in a long time. The Kitchen: This kitchen was full of grease, the cabinets, even the decorative things on counter were greasy. We degreased as much as we could but no more grease was coming off, we could not continue to due to trying to avoid damage and insults from the client. The heaviness in this kitchen was so over bearing it took 2 hours for the kitchen alone. The girls were there for a combined 10+ hours when a normal deep clean only last 5 hours. At some point the client must take responsibility for the maintenance in there home and realize that the cleaning company can do so much. This client was full of ungratefulness, disrespectful, full of insults, used racial slurs and should be ashamed to not pay for the 10+ hours we spent cleaning their filthy home. We at Bright Skys have been awarded best cleaning company for 2013 at [redacted]'s [redacted], we hold a 5 star rating on the web and [redacted] and have never encountered a homeowner that was just down right disrespectful. We are not housekeepers, we are a professional cleaning company and de-clutter was not the package this client chose. In reference to not inspecting the home, that is false, we meet every client we have and we inspect the home prior and after and have management in place to deliver on our customer service and product. This client over stepped her boundary in pointing fingers at our managers face and name calling. With all this being said, it was never an intention to re-enter this clients home. It's clear she tried to run an insurance scam for an item that was pre broken prior to our arrival and just did not succeed. I wish this client luck in her future endeavors and God Bless.
