Petro came to install a new Central AC system on 7/12/16, prior to the employee leaving they advised that the electrician they use will be calling coming to do the electrical connect As of today's date an electrician has not been to the property for the AC On 7/15, my husband called to complaint that the AC isn't working in the 2nd floor Petro sent a tech out on 7/15, a family member was present to let the tech in The tech went into basement and outside where system was and only stated everything was installed correctly Never went to 2nd floor to check why air wasn't reaching 2nd floor To date the problem has not been fixed My husband and I have been calling [redacted] the Installation Manager at [redacted] and we have not received any response We keep getting we will receive a call back but never get a call back On 8/3, the Town inspector came to do an inspection on the permits submitted by Petro and the inspection failed because of wrong wires used We called Petro th

There was an alleged contract enstated without my verbal or written consentThe terms were explained to me, but I never agreed upon the beginning of a contractI was under the impression that I had to sign something to start the contractWhen I called and asked the sale rep they told me they would have to had read a script and they would to had asked me to agree upon the contract, which was never doneI have requested to hear the phone call, with no availSo to my understanding with no proof of verbal or written agreement the contract is invalidI need someone to investigate the legality and validity of this contract

I am a customer who has a contract with Petro Home Services for my homes boiler systemMy complaint is that their customer service department has continuously caused issues with scheduling preventative maintenance that I am supposed to receiveI called in September to schedule maintenance and was told that the soonest they could schedule was December 6, I agreed to this dateHowever after waiting over months for maintenance they cancelled the visit the day of due to cold weather emergencies and insufficient manpowerWhen I asked them for an immediate date within a week of what was scheduled they told me I would have to wait till after December 25th to rescheduleI feel this is a breach of contract and a major inconvenience to myself as I had to ensure my wife was home today only to be told the visit was cancelledNow they are pushing my service back to the winter months when it should have been performed during Autumn

On August 29, Petro Home Services replaced a gas Hot Water Heater that was under warranty *** *** Building Construction Department requires a permit for the installation of all hot water heaters regardless of new, replacement or warranty I have repeatedly called Petro (Dennis C ***) to ask them to file a permit Building Department told me this must be done by Petro and that the homeowner cannot do it themselves Now I have been notified by Building Department that I am receiving a Violation Notice with a Fine of $because Petro failed to file a permit Petro promised me yesterday that they would file a permit today I just spoke to *** *** Department Petro did not call or file a permit with *** *** Department

Would give zero ratingCompany does not live up to automatic delivery contractThey have missed my last two deliveries#After I called was told would get it that dayInstead they sent tech with ten gallons of oilCalled next day asking why I did not get deliveryWas told was told by people in delivery someone put it in for the wrong dayI then called a manager he he looked it up and it was put in for the correct dateDelivery people lied #Did get delivery this week and I calledNo one knew why I did not get itWas told a tech would be sent out with some oil and I would get a delivery that nightIt might even come before the techTech brought oil but no deliveryI call company at the next day and was told it would get there todayI called again at 11:pm and was told again they do not know whyI asked can I get some oil brought out by a tech Was told not until TuesdayCould not believe this this whole problem was caused by them and no fault of me or broken equipmentThey do not, it seems to me, care about a year plus customerStay away from them

On January 5th of I contacted Petro via email with the following: "How much are you charging per gallon? Please don't deliver again until you answer my questionThank you!"
I received the following reply on the same day from Petro Customer Service:

Your email has been forwarded to the local office's pricing department to contact you regarding your question below

Today(2/10/16) I found an invoice in a hangtag on my front door indicating that Petro had delivered gallons at the price of $a gallonIronically, I had just ordered gallons from *** ***, another local supplier, for $a gallon yesterday (2/9/16)
In essence, Petro delivered home heating oil at $1.30/gallon over market prices to my home without my authorization and charged me $for the delivery

I sold my home and closed on October 16, Went through the procedure to cancel service and was told I was entitled to a $refund due to over-paymentI asked about the 60% of propane left in the tanks that I already had paid for, was told I was entitled to a refund, but Petro didn't know how much it would beCalled three more times to try and find out how much my refund would be and to find the status of my $refund to no avail...the CSR had to "get back to me, because I have to speak to the Propane Department"; even had one CSR say "I will call you tomorrow myself with the information", again to no availI even wrote an e-mail hoping someone would help that went unanswered

On December 2016, Petro Oil deivered oil They charged me at a ceiling price of $2.649/gal when doing research on the NJ.gov page for current home heating oil delivery prices on that day, the prices ranged from $to $2.119/gal
Petro insist that they have too much over head and because I am under an Auto Delivery/Ceiling Price contract they have every right to charge me at the Ceiling Price of a product that in actuality was much cheaper at the time of the delivery Petro also went on to threaten me with charging me for an early Cancellation of Contract fee of $+
There have been over complaints against Petro Oil in the past months for the Price Gouging practices and it is totally unfair to me and other consumers that this is allowed to happen
I called Petro to try to get the price adjusted and from a woman named Kelly in NY, to Kaylana in Customer Care to Derrick and Rose "Supervisors", I have been told that is is basically my tough luck

I purchased a furnance years ago from Petro, its a dual system blower for forced hot cold air, Well the other day the systems blower stopped bowing out air, they come out said it was the blower, Ok its under warranty, but we were charge $ when I also have a service contract, I called petro it was because it was the AC, are u kidding your blower is not working that is why my AC isn't, NOT because the AC is broke, the blower you installed on the SYSTEM BROKE...I called times all different reason for charge, even was told the service contract doesn't cover the summer or AC, AGAIN YOUR BLOWER BROKE NOT MY ACI want this $ credited this is obscured.....if my AC was broke I would take responsibility BUT it was NOT and ISN'T
