Today date-5/26/2016 Time 1:30 pm Finally, I can tell how Brighton [redacted] and [redacted] did my husband and I. We received a card in the mail about refinancing and lowing our interest rate. I retired this month; however we been working with Brighton bank since the end of November, 2015. We was trying to get a lower interest rate because I did retire; however send [redacted] (Senior Mortgage [redacted]er) all of our personal information-we went through the underwriter-We paid our mortgage up through Feb, 2016. On 2/25/2016 Time 9:29 am-[redacted] email stated it was clear to close and instead of mailing our March payment to our current bank([redacted] of [redacted]) bring it to the closing. He will let us know-Brighton [redacted] asked our home owner insurance to move our insurance to brighton bank in Dec, 2015. This was done..At closing, [redacted] send a notary to our home in March, so document could be signed, closing $495.00 was paid..[redacted] of [redacted] was not paid in March-requesting for payoff statements was billing up...3/31/2016 [redacted] call our home and stated there was some papers the first notary did not get me(spouse)to sign and they needed the papers signed. The second notary came to our home...papers was signed. [redacted] started to send notices..why?..[redacted] didn't say something was wrong..After we received another notice from [redacted], we call [redacted] at the office, they stated he was not in, he would not return no calls, its April now (2 months behind in mortgage. Then I call his cell, asking wants going on, why was we receiving anything from [redacted] did not answer the phone. Maybe two days later, he drop a text, stating he quest he will be the bearer of bad news. My mom died 4/16/2016 and the telephone I had was stole. Mr [redacted] said our refinancing did not go thur, I suggest you pay your mortgage. OH my God!! Brighton [redacted] wouldn't even talk to us they texted.. send back $495.00 back; but now damaged is done, we are two months behind in payments, our ssn/our business is out there somewhere.Desired SettlementI really don't know, We had never experience, such poor business practice. Mentally, they have mess with us. We are trying to go through [redacted] to help us. Mr [redacted] stated just pay up your mortgage and We could not pay up, because we didn't have it. In stead of lowing the interest rate, before my retirement, nothing happen as aspected. However, If they did us like this, they will be repeating this.
