Company billed additional money after being paid in full after work performed prior to the closing on a house
While at the home for sale, Brighton Heating gave Buyers an estimate of $3,to install a efficiency furnace Parties agreed to install and split the charges Brighton Heating installed a lower efficiency furnace on 01/28/and said that it was not cheaper because there was extra venting needed When Seller asked about pulling the City permit, it had not been done but Seller was told it would be $ Permit was not pulled; Seller called the City who called the contractor Brighton did pull the contract and brought it to the residence Brighton informed Seller the cost was $ No bill was received Two days before the closing (02/10/16) the Title Company called Seller about an unpaid bill At the same time Seller checked email and the bill dated 02/10/had been received one hour earlier in the amount of $indicating additional venting and permit fees

was ok with that. On the invoice it states that permit fees and bringing furnace up to code was an additional fee that she was well aware of. A permit was pulled and passed and client was happy everything worked out smoothly. In regards to the permit fees and venting with time labor and parts I had well over 500.00 invested but only charged 316.00. The realtors told each party that the other party was paying for the permit. The buyers realtor at closing paid 250.00 out of her commission and the seller only paid for the cost of the 66.00 permit. [redacted] agreed to pay the costs from day one. This is listed on the invoice. I pulled the permit when I had time to do so. She is not telling the truth by saying I avoided getting a permit. It was clearly listed on the original invoice. inspection passed. [redacted] was out of town during the time the furnace was condemned and during the installation. barley spoke to me. I did not meet her until I dropped off the permit. The communication problems between parties was remarkable obviously. I went above and beyond for the buyers and sellers only to be blamed for the realtors lack of communication with everyone. She is doing this out of spite. She knows she is lying about this. At least 5 people involved admit she new she was responsible. [redacted] filed a false report and has a problem with being honest. By filling a false report which will now be proven in court through the testimony of all parties involved.
