Move Out Date 8/1/2015. [redacted] did walk apartment with our Maintenance supervisor upon her move out (Tiffany R[redacted]). It was stated that everything looked ok. Never told resident she would have no charges. The resident did paint the apartment but it took two coats of paint to put back to original...

color. We would not know that until a contractor would try first coat. Therefore the charge to resident was $269.00. Carpet also looked ok until our carpet cleaners were cleaning there were several stains that would not come out and also seemed to be a pet in the apartment. We have no pet policy. It was even recommended that we replace carpet. We did not, we went again and had it cleaned to avoid replacing it. So resident has a charge of $95.00 for carpet cleaning. We had to wait for final billing for correct charges to the resident  $364.00. Our records indicate a $100.00 Security Deposit on hand.Resident Balance $264.00 Chateau in the Woods.See copies of Charges.We feel we have been fair in our business with [redacted] and have noted she did pay her rent on time. Sincerely,Heather F[redacted]Property Manager

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I had approval for a pet to be in the apartment, due to a disability, and if pet stains were in the carpet when the walk through was done, why was that not listed on the walk through papers which were signed? I will now file a complaint on the Management company since I have not heard back from them. May possibly contact my attorney's office if they think that I am going to pay further charges. The apartment was painted with a layer of primer as stated in my move out papers. This lady is lying and a bad apartment manager and will probably not be there long just like the rest of the ones before her.
