Brighton Laundry & Dry Cleaners Reviews (3)

Lets start from the beginningI have only worn the suit once prior to bringing to your store to be cleanedYour store cleaned it the first time and I brought it back to be cleaned againWhy would I bring a damaged pair of pants to be cleaned? When you get your clothes back from being cleaned and you go to try it on normally people rip off the tags, similar to buying a new shirtI do not wear clothes with tags on themAs far as saying I am trying to pull a fast one is very disrespectful and outright offensiveI do not have the time in my life to be dealing with your store like this over a pair of pantsHowever due to the way your store has treated me I decided to take actionThe reason it was a couple of weeks after it got cleaned is because I got the suit cleaned before the holidaysI tried the suit on days before the holiday and that's when I noticed the damageThere was no blue thread it was actually black and the fact that you have seamstresses in your store makes me even more suspicious that you would try to cover up damageThe number of clothes you process is irrelevant to the case at handI assumed you were not going to take responsibility judging by the way your employees treated meI have informed all of my friends in the area to not use your store and you are going to lose more in revenue that just myself as a customerYour store is 100% at fault and the way you handle customer service is horrendousThe lady in your store told me that you have had damages before so you are not as perfect as you are trying to make yourself out to be. You are not worth any more of my time and I am well aware at who's fault this wasHopefully in the future you use this as a lesson to treat your customers better and try to fix the situationOh I almost forgot. The lady at the counter confirmed when I brought the pants in on the computer, and I was told you have the world's best camera system so you should be able to visually see me bringing the suit in to be cleaned there
Regards,

Now you are flat out making things up. 100% she never said that we have the worlds best camera system in the store and you are exaggerating. You dropped off a suit and 2 shirts to be cleaned on 08/23/15 and I also saw you on 09/12/15 bring in a suit with no tags on it. If the suit were damaged when you took the tags off why did you not bring them back and take them off of the blazer. All pants are tagged where you stated that the damage was on the pants so why would you take the tag off of it when the damage was so apparent right where we marked it, makes no sense to me. As stated as a disclaimer on every receipt and store policy you must return the article of clothing unworn with all the tags on the item as well as with the receipt withing 48 hours of pickup. In this case the suit you brought back in did not have any tags on it nor was it within 48 hours. Again we cannot assume responsibility as this 100% did not happen in our establishment and happened while in your possession. As far as you informing all of your friends that is fine to do so as any of your friends that have used our services before know that we do not damage clothes here and only clean them. If you would like the cost to have a garment analysis done the cost on your end is $35 and it will be shipped to a lab to be analyzed and documented and sent back within a 2 week turn around time. If in fact we were the party responsible for damages to the suit we will reimburse you the cost of the analysis as well as $60 for the pants ( the max claim that can be put in is 10x the amount it costs to clean it). This is the only option that can be done.

To clarify, We do not use any chemicals when cleaning suits as they are cleaned in a Eco-friendly bio-degradable solvent that has never damaged a suit in the manner which he showed us upon returning back to the store over 3 weeks after initially dropping it off. Not only did the customer take all of...

the tags off of the clothes when bringing it back but the  customer also claimed that we tore his suit pants in a manner which looked like it was torn either by wear and tear by a belt on the waist line or by getting caught in a door jam of some sort, but in no case was this damaged here. Before the orders get closed it is sent through 7 Inspection phases and in no case what so ever would we send out a damaged article of clothing if in fact it was damaged here. When Mr. [redacted] and the woman he came with on 09/12/15 at 2PM (20 days after initially dropping it off) brought a suit in to show us it was damaged and there were a few strange things that happened. The first thing is that there were none of our marking tags actually on either the blazer or the suit to prove that it was cleaned here. So either the suit was worn after being cleaned, never cleaned here, or cleaned at another cleaners. Each article of clothing we clean is marked numerically with a bar code and customer name and neither the blazer or pant of the suit they brought in had it. Secondarily the woman accused us of trying to repair the pants after damaging them. We have 3 expert tailors and seamstresses here and never in 100 years would we use blue thread on a gray suit to fix anything. This suit had blue threads on the inside of the belt line which shows a poor attempt to repair something with no experience in any tailoring. So either this suit was damaged at another cleaners or this couple is trying to pull a fast one on us in an attempt to gain $75 by a suit that was damaged by them. We process anywhere from 10,000-20,000 articles of clothing a week and not once in all of the years we have been in business has someone brought in a pair of pants in this state which Mr. [redacted] brought in telling us we damaged them by damaging the waist line.It is Impossible for a suit to be damaged how this couple is claiming was done. We regret to inform Mr. [redacted] and his female accomplice that we do not take responsibility for the suit pants he brought in. If in fact his suit pants were damaged here we would claim responsibility for for it and have them replaced, but in this case the responsibility is not ours and Mr. [redacted] must take his blame somewhere else instead of trying to tarnish our name.
