BrightStar Care of Jupiter/Martin County

For the past year, BrightStar has provided live-in, as well as hourly care, for my husband, who suffered a traumatic brain injury. I am required to be away from home for extended periods of time due to my work schedule, and they have never failed to accommodate my needs, even on short notice. My husband is a challenging case due to his psychiatric problems, and the agency has been extremely proactive in screening health care aides who are compatible, and able to meet his needs, while giving him the space he needs to function without agitation. Recently he was involved in a situation which required immediate assistance from the agency, as well as the local police. The owners, and their entire office, got involved, de-escalated the situation, and ended up with a positive result for us all. Without going into all the details, suffice it to say that this was the nightmare scenario that everyone fears might happen to their loved one. The consequences are generally not good, and can possibly lead to an involuntary psychiatric committal. I attribute my own peace of mind to the attentiveness of the agency, and am truly grateful to be able to entrust my husband's care to them.
