Brightwaters Wall Covering & Consignment

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Brightwaters Wallcovering regarding complaint ID [redacted] , however my complaint has NOT been resolved because: Brightwaters Wallcovering to date has not completed our kitchen - the doors to the cabinets were dropped off on 6/ [redacted] however they do not match the trim paint of the cabinetsAs far as the timing we are now almost months into a project that was promised in daysYesterday the company said they would be at the house at (we have written proof) stating: We are on our way is there someone there to let us in? - I responded yessent them a message a 1/hour later asking if they were on their way (it only takes at most minutes from Brightwaters to Babylon, at 1148AM I received a message saying "Sorry I resanded all the doors and repainted them and put two more coast of clear, Just left, be there in - I don't understand how he could repaint the doors etcso quickly when it has taken almost months for them to originally do it - and they always said it needed extra drying time - at I messaged them, "Still waiting" - I decied to finally call them at and he said "Oh we are getting lunch, we will be there shortly I am right behind the guys" - needless to say, 130PM (after my daughter missed day of work) they finally showed up - the cabinets look horrible they are chipped and the color does not match the interior cabinetsThey still need to hang the cabinets, they are laying on my kitchen floor, the hardware that comes with the cabinets are over sprayed green and need to be touched up to be black again - At this point, we need money back to hire professional painters to fix the mess In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Review: Chain of events:May **, 2014 the [redacted] came to sign the proposal and collect the down payment - he and my mother and I agreed on a date for work to commence May *, 2014 - he also wrote the date on the top of the proposal. My mother spent the days of April ** and May * CLEANING out all the kitchen cabinets to prepare for May [redacted] work date...May [redacted] NO SHOW May [redacted] NO SHOW May [redacted] - They FINALLY show up in the late afternoon for about 11/2 hours to disassemble the cabinet in her kitchen -May [redacted] - [redacted] (the painter) came at around 9am and stayed till about 3 pm to sand the walls - [redacted] came at 3pm and requested the 2nd installment ($1400) May [redacted] - Came to do some sanding and a second coat of paint on the ceiling; Promised to be done Tuesday May [redacted] - [redacted]) said work would be done on Saturday may [redacted] however, [redacted] (the painter) said it would be because he spend time with his son on that day May [redacted] May [redacted] - no work May 12th - No Show, [redacted] finally called late in the day and said he was to tired, his kids were off and so was his wife so his words "If you cant beat em join em" and he wanted to stay home with them because he's tired driving all day on Sunday - said he would be there 830 in the morning the next day May [redacted] - Came Tuesday for wallsMay [redacted] - No show - [redacted] said he had to paint doors [redacted] said they were sprayed in the shop and done already. May [redacted] no show May [redacted] - no show May [redacted] - said he'd be late, he needed to get the paint from shop then he said he will be even later because they had to mix new paint because the cabinet paint didn't match the wall paint waiting for the paint shop to call and let them know it would be ready to be picked up. Then he had another gentlemen call after ignoring my phone calls all day - no show - I told [redacted] he could not come [redacted] as my parents have golf & doctors appts. that were scheduled. Came for about an hour on the [redacted] - [redacted] no show - cabinets damaged and kitchen not completeDesired Settlement: At this point, my parents have been living without a kitchen for a month, they have an unfinished kitchen, damaged antiques in the living room due to the carelessness of properly taping up plastic to prevent dust from coming into the rest of the house as promised. The cabinets were not tapes and have spray residue on the inside of them as well as on all hardware which we will have to replace. We gave $2800 to these people we are asking $2000 back to fix the damages
