Brilliant Smiles Bellevue

Dr. B at Brilliant Smiles used to be my dentist. I have received extensive dental treatment from his office. After a procedure that I believe went horribly wrong, I decided to not go back to his office. I also started to question if the treatments that he did were necessary and/or done correctly. I reviewed the ledger that his office provided and saw that there were discrepancies as well as double billings in the amounts I was charged and services that the ledger stated that I received. I tried calling Dr. B's office a few times earlier in November 2019, I was able to speak with his office staff, but none of them would transfer me to speak with Dr. B directly and he never returned my calls. No one from his billing department got back to me either.

I am no longer a patient their office and will no further want any treatment in the future. I believe there are discrepancies in the amounts which I paid for several treatments and double payments that I made. I have called my insurance, Delta Dental, and shared the ledger with them as well. They confirmed that there are errors in the billing.

In my letter to Dr. B's office, which I sent via certified mail at the end of December (I have a signed returned receipt from his office) I stated that I wanted his billing specialist to review 5 discrepancies that I wanted to be addressed and explained.
I believe that an amount of $7,421.30 should be refunded back to me for services that I never received or was billed for twice.

Further to this complaint, I have been contacted by the dental office and we have resolved the issueThe work is in progress and I have been charged the originally quoted amount which was the outcome I really wanted
