had been parked for quite some length of time and the vehicle registration sticker was expiredFurthermore, the vehicle had previous repairs performed by other entitiesSo when his Chevrolet corvette arrived to our facility it came in as a “no start.”Unfortunately, his vehicle is an older vehicle, so due to the age of the vehicle and the length of time the vehicle had been parked as non-operable I would of preferred an opportunity to spend more time test driving the vehicleBut was unable to due to the expired stickersWe did communicate this with the owner and also made reference to this on the final invoice. Please know once we completed the repairs the vehicle did start and runWe did advise *** *** of the additional repairs and concerns neededHe declined additional repairs at that timeWe also made note of this on his final invoice tooI will forward a copy for your review and records notating additional concerns and notes. If *** *** is still experiencing any issues with the repairs we completed I would be more than happy to perform a diagnostic at no charge to himUnfortunately, I’m not in a position to provide any refunds or reimbursementsLet the record show, that all work performed was authorized by *** *** before any work was completed. My sincere apologies, but, please know I do propose a free diagnostic and would like to encourage him to take advantage of this service- if he is still experiencing any issues with his vehicle.Thank You*** ***Please let me know if you received this message please Please read the attached document. Greetings  Please know I am responding to Mr. [redacted] complaint with regards to experience and repairs completed to his vehicle by BYOP.  Please let the record show, before any repairs were completed Mr. [redacted] did provide BYOP and its agents an authorization to initiate and complete...

the repairs to his vehicle.  Not only did he authorize the repairs but he was also provided a with a price estimate beforehand.  Mr. [redacted] was aware of the price estimate before any repairs were completed and did authorize the repairs and cost.  With his permission we resumed with repairs. The repairs completed were requested by Mr. [redacted] based on BYOP’s internet special for brake repairs.  BYOP gives a discount on parts by honoring customer walk in prices for parts purchased- basically, giving the customer a discount upfront on all parts needed to repair the vehicle.  For example, If the customer can purchase the part for 5.00 we will honor the 5.00 by selling the part to the customer for that particular price.  It is our business practice to discuss any and all pricing up front with each customer.  Because of the upfront savings on parts the profit margin is limited leaving no room for additional discounts.  Please know we appreciate Mr. [redacted] and most definitely value his military service to our country, unfortunately, we were unable to provide a military discount to Mr. [redacted].  We did our best to make sure he was satisfied during the point of sale.  Mr. [redacted] was kind and polite and didn’t give any indication he was unsatisfied.  So to learn of his complaint and negative statements through social media was definitely a surprise. I would like to express if Mr. [redacted] is having any issues we would be more than willing to resolve the matter as soon as possible.  I would like to encourage Mr. [redacted] to give our BYOP representatives a call should he be experiencing any issues we will be more than willing to honor any repairs under warranty.  If you need any additional information please don’t hesitate to let me know at your earliest convenience.   Sincerely [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:The "mechanic" sat down and looked on the computer for 3 hours because he could not figure out where the part went. They should have given us our car back immediately! They held the car to make money! The "piece of paper" we signed  was to get our car back! I will not ever return. Keep your unearned $100. Not a very ethical thing to do to people when people are in need of help. The more people you unethically take money from, the business will suffer and people will be out of jobs. Think!!!

I'm responding to the customers complaint:Please accept my apologies we understand you are having issues  with your vehicle.  Please know we would be more than happy to recheck all work performed by us and if there are any issues with our work we will repair at no cost. ...

Please understand we are not in a position to give a refund nor are we able to pay another shop to perform warranty work.  If there is any warranty work needed we will put you in front of all other cars that are here and make any necessary warranty repairs a priority.  Also if you need towing let us know because we can make arrangements to have your vehicle towed to our facility. As we have already explained to you there are many other issues with your vehicle including leaking coolant that explains why it is low on coolant. And spark plugs are wet with oil.  We sent you pictures of all additional work needed including those problems but you declined additional repairs at that time and also signed a final invoice declining additional work and agreeing to no warranty.  So I am forwarding the pictures again to prove that all those issues were pre existing and we presented  these issues to you verbally and via photographs.  I will also like to reiterate there is no warranty on items you declined. We want you to be satisfied with our work and have no problem rechecking and performing any warranty wok needed so please take advantage of our offer anact at [redacted]  I will forward photos that were sent to customer to the Revdex.com VIA EMAIL FOR Revdex.com TO REVIEW      thank you.
