Brinkley's Flooring

Review: The company installed a linoleum floor in my basement. The design does not match at the seam. They told me they would have the flooring rep look at it. They never did, even after repeated calls to them. I called the manufacturer, [redacted], who called Brinkley's. [redacted] at Brinkley's told the manufacturer that there was no problem with the flooring but that they would contact me. Again I've heard nothing from them. The manufacturer says they cannot have their rep come out to look at the floor unless Brinkley's files a complaint. They are telling me one thing and the manufacturer something else. The only way this is not a flooring defect is if the installer made a cut along the seam, which they should not have done, and which they have not admitted to me having done. The manufacturer says [redacted] told her they did indeed make a cut along the seam. So what kind of installer does that? Additionally, the flooring has large bubbles under it in quite a few places. Brinkley's has come out and injected additional glue in some places, but it is not working to get rid of the bubbles. They told me the rep says they need to pull the tile up and re-lay it, but they have made no effort to do so.Desired Settlement: Brinkley's and [redacted] both say they stand behind their service and products, but neither is willing to take the blame for this atrocious-looking flooring job and get it fixed. I either want a new floor laid or I want this one removed and my money for the tile refunded, and I will hire someone else to lay a new floor.
