I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***Please add your rejection comments belowi'm well aware that the business owner claims no fault in this dispute He is entirely resolute that despite my telling him we would not be returning to class and his acknowledging that he understood, he has done nothing wrong The contract clearly states that it can only be canceled in writing within days which is why I insisted he override that cancelation policy in the notes section I understood that note to be a clear understanding between us that I wouldn't be held to the days or the written requirement When I spoke with him about not returning, he never clarified this point at all, but was well aware my son had not been attending class the entire months he was billing me He even admits to seeing him at the grocery store (notwithstanding me present) where they spoke about his not being back and yet he continued to claim that he had no recollection of my telling him of our cancellation My argument has been that despite what the contract says, he overroad that contracts requirements when he wrote the note at the top It was a seriously shady business practice to assure me it would all be fine if I lost my job, that I would be able to get out of the contract without any problem and then completely renege on those claims when that time came Families should not be put in this position and small businesses in small towns should not be so short sited
