Review: I signed a contract with this company at the end of June to have our driveway sealcoated. I am still waiting and they keep giving me the run around whenever I call them. First I call the number in the phone book several times, then he tells me to call [redacted] at another number, then [redacted] calls me back and tells me I should call him because he's [redacted]. Last week he told me they would be on Tuesday, when they don't show I call him on Wednesday and he tells me they will be here on Friday. I called him ([redacted]) at 2 P.M. and ask if they will be here today and he tells me he has to check with [redacted] and he'll call me right back. That was 2 hours ago and I have not received a call yet. I'm afraid to break my contract with them and have someone else do it. I do not want to pay 2 companies for the same work when one of them don't respond promptly.Desired Settlement: I just want my driveway sealcoated.

Review: I had an asphalt driveway installed in September, 2013. The driveway is already cracking and not holding up. I have not been able to make any personal contact with Bristol Paving to even have them to come out and look at it. I have left various phone messages when answering machine allows it.Desired Settlement: I want driveway to be repaired to a satisfactory condition.

Business

Response:

Sorry bristol paving has been out of business since October 13 2013. And is currently filing bankruptcy.

Review: Bristol Paving installed my new driveway incorrectly, and different than it was previously (before they tore out the old)..... Now water runs into my garage and is rotting away the wood at the base of my walls. This design is going to completely destroy my garage in time..... The previous design (to be replaced) had a dip down in front of my garage (like a mini half-pipe at a skatepark) then went up the hill, so that when water runs down the hill, it then runs off to the side of the garage, and NOT into it...... The owner, Ryan, stopped by early in 2012, and complained that he was busy with a divorce, but that he would return. Since then, he has not answered OR returned 15+ phone calls.......... I need help, PLEASE.saidDesired Settlement: Fix my driveway, so that it doesn't run water into my garage and destroy the walls. And the repair should keep smoothness throughout the the driveway, so that kids can still roller skate on it without tripping over a new raised/lowered seam.

Review: Terms of Net 30 were extended to this company. Our invoice #[redacted] for customized caps and tees sold, in good faith, to this company, is now 137 days past due (in the amount of $910.73). We have faxed and emailed copies of the invoice and statements. We have called the company only to be referred to the owner or to be told that the invoice will be paid. It has not been paid to-date.Desired Settlement: We desire payment in full plus finance charges.

Review: I paid Bristol paving $4500 in August of 2012 to tear out an old driveway and install a new driveway. In the process of completing this job, they dented our garage door (which they did pay to have repaired), chipped a piece of concrete off of our garage floor, tore up the grass next to the driveway, and damaged some of our bushes next to the driveway. They also didn't tear out the entire driveway as stated in the contract. The approach to the driveway was left as it was, and they worked around it. Within a week of the driveway being installed, it began to crack in some places. I could also see the aggregate in parts of the driveway that looked like the blacktop wasn't properly mixed. There are also various holes in the driveway where it appears as if the blacktop did not set well. The other problem is that when it rains , at least 5 puddles form in the driveway. This is dangerous in the cold weather when the puddles freeze. My husband has fallen twice in these areas. We tried contacting Bristol Paving a number of times and tried to get them to repair our driveway and there is always an excuse as to why they can't (not enough time, machine is broken, got held up at another job. . .). Ryan Sentieri (one of the owners) has promised many times to fix this problem and has never end followed through with this promise.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back from them. I feel that I cannot trust anything they say. They have had plenty of time to make good on this contract, and they have failed to do this.
