Mr*** dropped off his vehicle on Friday 11-18-for a rear brake problem (grinding noise)We inspected the rear brake system for condition arid informed Mr*** with our assessment of the problem and with our price for the repairs and parts to cure the problemWe agreed that the vehicle
would be completed for Friday (11-25-2016) morning pickup, The customer requested that we hold his vehicle inside the building for the safety of his tools which he kept inside his truck, and we honored his requeSt.Mr*** approved the repairs and the price to complete the repairs before we began work on his vehicleWhen we were finished, the vehicle was repaired and the problem solvedThe price we charged was the same price quoted to Mr*** and approved by himWhen Mr*** picked up his truck, he made no mention of being upset at the cost of repairs done or that he was dissatisfied in any wayHe had a very pleasant conversation with me while paying his bill and before leaving our shopMr, *** called our shop approximately hours later, yelling at me saying how we ripped him offMr*** said that he was going to tell everyone that he knows, including putting it on Facebook and YelpHe ended with he would never come back to our shop again.We price our parts using a price matrix system according to the price we pay from our suppliers which is in line with fair market valueWe explained this to Mr***It is distressing to us that Mr*** was not pleased with our services and/or pricingHowever, he did approve the pricing in advanceWe believe that we served Mr*** well and treated him fairlyWe stand by our work ethic and pricing matrix that we have always used, and as such, we will not be extending a billing adjustment.We stand by our stated position of treating all our customers with same respect and fairnessWe are a 3rd generation family owned business serving our community since 1957,Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.Steve B F*
