Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I sent over pictures and videos to the Revdex.com to show them how much brite takes pride in their homes I also made a claim with the health department about the mold situation as of last Thursday 09/7/they broke the contract due to negligence I will not be held accountable for them breaking the contract it's bad enough I have to spend extra money and up root my family in less then a year due to their laziness and unprofessional attitude towards their renters they should be held accountable for their actions plus it is against the law to be having their renters live in these conditions I sent the pics about a half hour ago via email my son was literally puking every morning until he finally started staying in the family room over the mold in the walls they need to be financially held responsible for these incidents maybe then they will think twice about making a renter live in these conditions my question to Brite homes would be would you lay your head in those conditions I think not why should your customers have to
Sincerely,

Obviously corporate was out looking at my place today and head of maintenance did a walk through staying is no longer an option obviously due to the living conditions you guys had months to make it right all I want is to be able to get out and never look back from here I would greatly appreciate a response back asap so I know what I need to due from here

I have put deposit on my new place which holds it for weeks all I'm waiting on is my deposit that is rightfully mine I am moving because of the living conditions I tried to stick it out as long as possible the fact that I know now I have termites really eerrrkkksss me your employee snuck in my house to cover it up because now the wood is eaten away at and it wasnt like that before it would only take me days pending the settlement to be off the property

I am unaware of what some of these photos are trying to show meAt this point, I am having the manager and the maintenance supervisor come in to take a look againI will re-evaluate after they have been in the home

We are aware of each complaint. Each complaint was followed up with a visit from our maintenance crew. Our maintenance supervisor along with our manager have been to this home on several occasions to find these issues to be minute and unable to find any direct problems. We...

are unable to repair things that are not in need of repair. We responded to a call concerning the skylight leaking. The skylight had a few cracks in the sealant so the sealant was replaced. Another call 12/13/16 responded 12/16/16 concerning ceiling above window in living room leaking. Saw no issues, but caulked a couple screw holes in siding just in case. Another issue at the same time, master bedroom shower head leaking, the shower head had just come a little loose, we tightened it. Responded to another call hot water issues in December 20th, when we got there, December 21st, the issue had resolved itself. Responded to a call concerning the bathroom floor on 3/8/17, 3/9/17 we installed trim around the bathroom floor, and vinyl in an entryway. Responded to a call from 4/10/17 saying that there were termites, no evidence of termites, however resident had ants in living room and laundry room. Stated at the same time that the skylights and roof leaked. We found no evidence of either issue. Two shingles missing and were replaced at that time. After receiving another complaint concerning the skylight in June of this year, we replaced the skylight just to appease the resident. Our maintenance office responds to each and every complaint. These homes are owned by Brite Homes... we do not want them falling apart. We take care of any issues that arise.

01/11/2018: Mediator emailed business requesting update and documents.01/12/2018: The $675 that Ms. [redacted] is referring to was kept to cover September's rent. She was still in the home in September but had not paid her rent. We waived $428 in late fees but took the $675 from her deposit to cover the actual rent. When we agreed to all of this back in the end of September, she was perfectly fine with our agreement.
