Review: Three employees from Brite Maid cleaned my condo while I was not there. When I left in the morning there was no damage to the unit. When I returned that afternoon the exterior panel of glass to the right of the sliding glass door was shattered. Brite Maid was immediately contacted and Silvia and the three employees came over the next day. The employees stated that the glass was shattered when they arrived and that they thought it was supposed to be that way. However, they also said they did not touch that panel of glass. (Brite Maid did not contacted me upon arrival to let me know that there was a shattered floor to ceiling glass panel.)

Brite Maid had been responsive at the beginning of this conflict but since learning that the cost to replace the glass pane is $8,950 I can't get a response from the company. I have called numerous times and e-mailed twice since Thursday, September 11. Brite Maid has acknowledged that they received the e-mail and that it has been forwarded to "upper management" but I am still waiting a response. I would also like to talk to someone in "upper management" but I have been told that they are not accessible to customers.Desired Settlement: I would like Brite Maid to pay to replace the shattered glass panel.

Review: I like to give praise where it is due and I also like to share not so great experiences when they occur, too.

I purchased a [redacted] for a cleaning service from Brite Maids in late 2012 and had a pretty good experience with the company; the cleaning service was better than some that I have utilized in DC and I decided to continue using them on a biweekly basis.

I prepaid to have my one bedroom apartment cleaned six times and after the second cleaning, I decided to cancel the service. I found that a kitchen item was missing and felt like they were not cleaning my apartment very well (I would find dust on furniture, the kitchen and bathroom floors did not look clean as well as the bathtub). I reached out to [redacted] who apologized and assured me he would give me a refund for my unused sessions. Three months later, several phone calls and many emails exchanged, and I received half of the refund that was promised to me. I am still trying to collect the other half but all I get is lip service and the company tells me that they are mailing me a check that never comes. Oh, and it took me over a month to get my keys back from the company.

I would have gladly given this company a decent to good review for their cleaning service had their customer service not horrible. I don't take well to liars and feel like this company has no integrity.Desired Settlement: Receive a refund from the company for $110, the two unused cleaning sessions that I never got and was supposed to be refunded for.
