Good Afternoon *** ***,Gillette AC and Heating has already begun working on the chiller system. Per the owner and technician, the reason that the system is not operating is because the lines in the system are clogged. Yesterday they added gallons of calcium killer and will
need to circulate it in the chill water system for the next few days to break up and remove the calcium, scale and lime that is clogging the lines in the systemThey will return and brush all the tubes and make sure that the lines are clear before turning on the system and get it operating at its full potential. Turning on the system any earlier will negate the chemicals ability to break up the deposit and cause more problems and possible ruin the entire system. Moving forward, I will have a service contract in place as it should have been prior to our take over. They will monitor and maintain the chiller system properly so that it will run at its full potential and prevent issues like this to happen again.
