Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Mr [redacted] 's statements concerning the status of work is not totally correct.? ? The cabinets in the kitchen are only partially installed.? As shown in the picture, all lower cabinets are not installed.? In addition, the job should also include a Granite or marble counter top, custom cabinets for pantry, sink and disposal.? ? There is no vanity in either of the bathrooms.? Mr [redacted] claims that vanities are in the house is not correctThe remaining works are a lot more than those stated by Mr [redacted] .? I will explain in the following list:AThe work for the master bathroom and hallway bathroom has not started at all.? As shown in the pictures, both are empty without sheet rock.? Per the agreement, the master bathroom should have a watile shower, a toilet, a high grade vanity, two sinks, recess light, faucet, etcThe hallway bath should have a tile tub, a toilet, a high grade vanity, sink, a toilet, faucet, etc.BThe master bedroom and other three bedrooms work includes to replace entrance doors with panel door and replace closet doors.COutside trim work includea to replace rotted wood, water wash, and paintDIn garage, in addition to repair drywall and paint, the job includes to replace the exterior door with a solid core lauan/mahogany or birth flush.These pictures were taken at the end of August.? As I mentioned in my original complaint, Mr [redacted] has never replied to my numerous phone calls, text messages, and emails since the September, The reason I filed the complaint is because I do not think Mr [redacted] will honor the agreement and finish the job by the end of September, as he promised.Based on the works still open, I do not believe Mr [redacted] fulfilled his part of agreements for two payments I made.? I would like Mr [redacted] reviews the written agreement which has unit price for each every job, makes an honest assessment of what he has finished at the end of August, 2017, and pay me back what he owes me accordingly ASAP.Best Regards,C.? I went over the numbers and the Total I came up with for the total dues is $5,426.23I don't know if the home owner is looking at the total money due but there is Depreciation on the job so that total is What is owed but I haven't taken off for the doors in the hallway? There are a few things that I haven't taken off yet but I will send the home owner a check with in the next 30-days with the total that is due with a written letter and scope of work that was completed and explains everything that we did on the jobI work directly off the scope of work and I DO not over charge or do anything LESS than what is written on the scope of work from the insuranceIf you have any questions please let me know and I will get that all over to the Home owner as soon as we can? Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:After serious consideration I really do not think I can trust Mr [redacted] again He ignored my efforts to contact him for four months What is the guarantee that he will not do it again?Based on the current condition of the house, I do not think Mr [redacted] had finished 50% of the repairs that we agreed to in July When compare the amount of money I had paid and the conditions of the repair, although it is still not fair to me, I am willing to settle this complaint if Mr [redacted] refunds $5,to me and keep the money that is 50% of the total amount of the contract I had already paid him to do the work Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Did not meet yesterday as promisedIs trying to collect money for cabinets that I did not authorize him to build.? He was supposed to come to my house on 12-9-at am to measure for the cabinets that he said were lost, he never showed or called yet again waiting my time.? ? The cost for vinyl flooring is he stills owes me 4268.90.? Nothing has changed fails to keep scheduled appointments, and my kitchen is still not complete because of this company.? ? Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I suggest that you start being truthful, you have only been over to my property twice. Once for the initial meeting, and then second to collect payment and to set up a meeting to start work that you obviously had never intended to completeAfter that, any time frame set by you was never met and no phone calls or text messages explaining your absence were received. My daughters had to call you because you ceased communication with me. In both instances you claim you were waiting on the insurance for approval for the cabinets and yet you never thought to call me the homeowner, to inform me that you would not be starting work as you had stated. Both my daughters reiterated to you to keep in contact with me with progress, yet weeks went by with no contact from you. I was under the impression you have been doing this for awhile so the lack of unprofessionalism that I met from you. I shouldn't have to contact you once you have received money from meYou should be keeping me informed. There is no confusion or misunderstanding on my part. You were suppose to meet with my new contractor so he could look at the parts you claimed to have but you failed to give him your address and after he contacted you, you refused to meet with himI never signed or received a contract from you. Your lack of professionalism, failure to do work already paid for, ad disparaging comments made towards me and my family are more than enough proof you don't want to figure this out. Mr [redacted] I was coming over to Measure the rest of the Cabinets that you are claiming you are rejectingI had that conversation with you over the telephone I was over to your property multiple times to look for the cabinets that were lost by the restoration company so you know I had the measurements for those cabinets lostI was gonna measure for the rest of your cabinets because as you know insurance will put you back to pre loss condition so you knew I was coming to measure for the entire kitchen cabinets not the ones lost...I had this conversation with you multiple times and I am sorry if you were confused but you need to also look at the text messages that I sent to you that was a conversation between me and you daughterYour daughter asked me to have communications with her about what was going on because she either felt you didn't understand the conversation to she wanted to deal with the matter I sent her messages about all this as well as youThe Saturday we were suppose to meet I do not believe I gave you an exact time because we were swamped that dayI will get the price of the flooring and I will deduct that along with the 30% of the total claim that was addressed in the contract if you as a customer back outI am wanting to get this figured out Mr [redacted] you even had your Contractor [redacted] get ahold of me and you couldn't come to an agreement thereI am trying here and I want to get this matter out of the wayYour flooring is sitting in my warehouse and would like to get this matter out of my hair so Mr [redacted] please be truthful here because I do still have the text messages from you and your daughter and I truly want to get this figured outthis would be easier if you would call me directly and not having 3rd parties call me about the issue here and try and have a conversation with out you hanging up?

I am meeting with the new contractor on Tuesday 1-9-to show them the flooring that has been bought and the cabinets that have been builtand we are suppose to come to an agreement on the remainder to be reimbursed...

This job was to be payed in installments and I did get three payments and all work was completed in the order with the payments Mr *** has said that there was only sheet rock installed on this jobI dont think Mr *** understands that there was Demolition of the job and also alot of
Framing work that was done to replace rotting wood that was caused to leaks in his roof and damage from Ratsas far as Sheet Rock half the house was torn apart and new insulation was installed and replaced the sheet rock and then the entire house was Textured and ready for paintI aslo believe Mr *** forgot yo mention the Kitchen Cabinets that were also payed for and installed in the kitchen and the bathroom vanities where at the house as wellWhat is left is Flooring, tile in the showers and trim work which includes lights, bathroom faucets and painting the rooms which was to be complete with the final paymentI reached out to Mr *** via text message on 12-28-and never received a message back on getting things resolved I would like to get this job finished and get this issued resolved ASAP Thanks *** ***

I am rejecting this response because:I apologize that we were unable to respond within the days stipulated but we did not have access to a computer.While the contractor disagrees and mentions the doors there are other costs that we have incurred due to his failure that are not include but stated in our documentation such as; cleanup and haul away fees for debris; There was no insulation installed in the the ceiling of one of the rooms that required that the sheetrock be removed and the necessary insulation beinstalled; additional door trim was required to be purchased and installed for doorways and still need painting. Contractor was paid to install wood flooring a a higher cost than the ceramic tile that was installed and not completed.While we welcome his offer our additional cost are at least $this does not include the unpaid time taken off from work to complete most of the work and/or monito contractors finishing up what was not done.*** *** *** *** ***

BRM Construction will be at the location on Friday July 28th to finish the projectI have been unable to be at the job due to cutting the tip of my index finger off and in developing an infectionNow that everything ok and the infection is gone and my finger has had some time to
