Review: We paid for our 92 year old mother to stay there under respite for a week. She was admitted to Broadmore on a Friday and on Sunday was admitted to the hospital and never returned. We requested a refund and they said we could have one, after multiple phone calls giving us the run around, but they will not send the check with her refund. We have spoke to multiple people in administration on multiple occasions. The stay was in February 2015.Desired Settlement: Return the money for the portion of the week that she was not admitted to Broadmore.

Review: I am POA for my 85 year old mother, who was a resident at the facility between 12/16 and 12/26/2014. We had signed a contract for a two week stay, which we prepayed. While there she developed Bronchitis, had to be transported at my direction to a hospital emergency room and was admitted to the hospital. The contract specified that if she had to leave the facility and was admitted to a hospital, she would be refunded for the days she wasn't there. The staff representative acknowledges a refund is due, but after numerous calls to both the local business and their corporate office in Tacoma, WA, no refund has been forthcoming.Desired Settlement: They indicated that she was due to receive $275. We want it paid.

Some kind of high-fluted invoice demanding $600.00 (FOR WHAT) ?!

As far as our legal counsel, my aunt’s niece and I, the Power of

Attorney expect a zero balance due, invoice.

June, 2016 is not nor should it be part of the equation.

It is my impression that the management at Broadmore Senior Living had never informed the corporate office in the state of Washington. That an agreed upon date to pay all monthly invoices no later than the 5th of each month (we have been paying on or before that date for the past 85 months on behalf of the resident, my aunt). The reason is because the Social Security Checks from the Treasury Department would arrive no later than the 3rd of each month. That way the senior living facility would not encounter, “INSUFFIENT FUND” check.

Notice was given on May 5, 2016 but a meeting was not put in motion until May 16, 2016 by Broadmore Management. We reviewed the $100.00 per month rent increase but we were never informed the Mental Care charge was increasing to $900.00 per month.

At this May 16, 2016 meeting they were informed that the May 5th letter (when rent/medical payment is due) my aunt will be relocating on the 26th of May (many unbudgeted expenses were incurred because of Broadmore financial greed and my aunt having to move).

If Broadmore cannot control nor budget expenses they should consider going “NON-PROFIT”. That way you do not have to make promises that you cannot keep much like our Federal Government does and then pass the buck onto the tax payer.

Get ready for a big law suit if a zero balance invoice for my aunt is not forthcoming, NOW!Desired Settlement: ZERO BALANCE DUE!

Review: My mother in law passed away on August 3, 2014. She was staying at Broadmore Assisted Living, Lakemont Farms. She had been there for 4 months. I payed the full months rent on August 1, 2014 and still have not received the money due to her estate for the rest of the month that she was not a resident there. I have phoned several times. The first few I the person who deals with the rent was never available. When I finally did get ahold of her, I was informed that the information was forwarded to the home office (which she would not tell me where it was). I called her the preceding two months because we still had not received a check and she told me "she sent the information over and they will be cutting a check the first part of next month and that I was not the only family looking for a refund"Desired Settlement: We would like our refund so we can settle my Mother in laws estate.
