I have been a resident at Broadstone at Ancala, (now known as Elevate Ancala) for about six months now, and it will be my lastSince day one, I have had rude and disappointing let downs with the maintenance hereThey have been rude to myself as well as other residents that I have watched leave
I no longer extend my invitation for the maintenance to come repair anythingI was completely disrespected in my homeI have never had a working dryer since moving in to this apartmentTherefore, it has ruined over $worth of my clothes, making holes and endless *** of lint that have ruined expensive cashmere sweatersI have had the same maintenance guy come fix my dryer four timesIt should take once, but unfortunately, it took four until it was replacedHe claimed every time that it was fixed, then finally brought in a new dryerAs he brought it up, he looked at me and said,”You gotta make a better path than that.” Referring to clutter I had on the floor at the timeAs if that wasn’t rude enough, he installed the dryer and threw the manual on top and said, ”Here’s the instructions for your new dryer, since you never knew how to use it to begin with.” I was so blown away with how someone in business can talk to someone like thatHe still clocks in everyday, and none of the residents understand whyHe has created other issues with neighbors that do not ever want him in their apartment againSeven people that I know of, have moved out due to how rude Elevate’s management is
I had a kind neighbor across from me that terminated her lease after two months of being hereShe and her young son suffered pneumonia in the winter because they never had a working heater in their time hereShe was disgusted by how she was treated by the maintenance team, and terminated her lease and withheld her rent because maintenance did nothing to help her
For our first winter here, we were going to have our first fire, and it was our lastOur entire apartment was smokingWe made sure the vent in the fireplace was open before use, and we checked even after we cleared the smoke outI called maintenance the next day very angry that my apartment was almost set on fire, and they said the chimney was cloggedNever again did we test it, and I feel really bad for the next people who have to move into this apartment
In my searchings of finding this apartment six months ago, I took a tour here with my boyfriend and was promised great amenities that I never got to experienceI was promised hour amenities that would be renovated by the end of 2015, such as a newly renovated gym, clubhouse and ski loungeIt is almost the end of my lease, and I had to pay for a gym membership elsewhereOn their website, they were promoting advertisingIt said there were two heated pools with jacuzzis, that have never worked for me in the six months I have been herePrevious residents that were here prior said the same thing was an issueAnd it listed a newly renovated gym, and clubhouse that wasn’t complete at the time
I have never experienced so much disappointment in a business, especially when I have to live under their roofA lot of the residents here would agree with me that they are paying so much and not getting much back in returnWe are all incredibly disappointed with this apartment complex, that so many people are just fleeing before their lease
