I had horrible customer service with this company, I started renting there because the company I worked for gave a discount on move in costsHowever the staff in the office are very rude,I was originally promised an apt with a garage at a certain price, only to find out on moving day they gave me a completely different aptThey refused to match the promised price to a garage apt so I received a smaller apt without the features I had asked for on the first floorHowever with the first rain of us living there my apt floodedIt came in through the base boards in the closets and through the Arcadia door in the dining roomSince it doesn't rain much in Phoenix they came and surveyed the damage and said since it was mostly dry there was nothing they could doHowever the next time it rained, months prior to our move out date we were not so luckyI was gone for the weekend and when I came back my entire dining room and both closets were soaked and had been for days while it was rainingAll doors and windows were closed but again it came in through the baseboardsAfter telling the office about the problem it took them days to come look at the problem and I fear if I wouldn't have called to complain that it was after 4pm and still I hadn't seen a maintenance person that it would have been days before they looked at my aptTheir solution to the problem was to come in and do a min carpet clean with disinfectant to try to stop bacteria from growing and gave us a coupon for a free carpet cleaningThey didn't fix the problem, and of our neighbors also experienced the flooding so it wasn't just our aptDuring this time while speaking to the manager about my dissatisfaction of how they handled the situation I advised I would not be renewing my lease and that was my 60day noticeThe manager said ok and didn't give me any other instructionWhen moving out days later we were told since we didn't give written consent of the notice so they were going to charge a full months rent when the lease was up two weeks into the monthWhen the manager was advised of this again she said sorry for your luck but you have to payWhen moving out in the master bedroom closet from the flooding problem there was mold growing half way up the wall that was hidden from view by a dresserSo my family lived with mold for months trying to get it all resolvedWe turned in our keys and they tried to stick us with a $bill to pay for "damages" done to the apartment when besides the mold and a broken microwave door handle we left the place in better condition then when we moved inDon't rent from them!!!

I really wish I was not spending my time writing this review but I have exacerbated all of my other optionsWe have been living at this property almost a year now and have not had a good or even mediocre experienceOur apartment building and our apartment has roaches and they are refusing to bomb the whole buildingThey have sprayed and fogged our apartment and others multiple times and the problem has not gone awayWe asked to be moved to another apartment on the property but they are wanting us to live in the roaches for thirty days and pay more money to do soI cannot emphasize enough on how negative this experience has been and how disgusted I am living hereThey make you feel trapped and are not willing to help

I had horrible customer service with this company, I started renting there because the company I worked for gave a discount on move in costs. However the staff in the office are very rude,I was originally promised an apt with a garage at a certain price, only to find out on moving day they gave me a completely different apt. They refused to match the promised price to a garage apt so I received a smaller apt without the features I had asked for on the first floor. However with the first rain of us living there my apt flooded. It came in through the base boards in the closets and through the Arcadia door in the dining room. Since it doesn't rain much in Phoenix they came and surveyed the damage and said since it was mostly dry there was nothing they could do. However the next time it rained, 2 months prior to our move out date we were not so lucky. I was gone for the weekend and when I came back my entire dining room and both closets were soaked and had been for 2 days while it was raining. All doors and windows were closed but again it came in through the baseboards. After telling the office about the problem it took them 2 days to come look at the problem and I fear if I wouldn't have called to complain that it was after 4pm and still I hadn't seen a maintenance person that it would have been 3 days before they looked at my apt. Their solution to the problem was to come in and do a 10 min carpet clean with disinfectant to try to stop bacteria from growing and gave us a coupon for a free carpet cleaning. They didn't fix the problem, and 3 of our neighbors also experienced the flooding so it wasn't just our apt. During this time while speaking to the manager about my dissatisfaction of how they handled the situation I advised I would not be renewing my lease and that was my 60day notice. The manager said ok and didn't give me any other instruction. When moving out 60 days later we were told since we didn't give written consent of the notice so they were going to charge a full months rent when the lease was up two weeks into the month. When the manager was advised of this again she said sorry for your luck but you have to pay. When moving out in the master bedroom closet from the flooding problem there was mold growing half way up the wall that was hidden from view by a dresser. So my family lived with mold for 2 months trying to get it all resolved. We turned in our keys and they tried to stick us with a $3000 bill to pay for "damages" done to the apartment when besides the mold and a broken microwave door handle we left the place in better condition then when we moved in. Don't rent from them!!!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

I was told that I was approved for a 1bed 1bath after applying and paying the application and admin fee. I came in and signed the 12 month agreement. After touring the OCCUPIED apartment with Megan, Yolanda the manager looks at my paperwork and realizes that Megan looked at the inventory list incorrectly and gave me an apartment that was OCCUPIED, despite the fact that they had been told since Monday that I could move in this Saturday. They didn't have any other 1bedrooms and they weren't going to give me a 2 bedroom at the agreeed price. So Yolanda ended up telling me that all they could do is refund my money and gave me a half assed apology. SUCH A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. I guess I'm better off though judging by how many tenants came in complaing about various issues (security gate doesn't work, roaches, loud neighbors, and a guy came in complaing that APS was Charing him $250/month for a tiny apartment and APS was a able to determine that the apartment was a fault.) Save yourself the headache and look else where, they don't know how to run a business properly

I really wish I was not spending my time writing this review but I have exacerbated all of my other options. We have been living at this property almost a year now and have not had a good or even mediocre experience. Our apartment building and our apartment has roaches and they are refusing to bomb the whole building. They have sprayed and fogged our apartment and others multiple times and the problem has not gone away. We asked to be moved to another apartment on the property but they are wanting us to live in the roaches for thirty days and pay more money to do so.
I cannot emphasize enough on how negative this experience has been and how disgusted I am living here. They make you feel trapped and are not willing to help.
