I purchased a Monte Carlo on Monday 7/15/for $for my sonHe drove it off the lot and he only made it to the highway and it cut off on himI contacted the car lot and they came and towed it to the shop because they thought it was the batteryI got it towed from the shop to a mechanic who told me the motor went outI contacted the car lot and told them what was going on and they said they can't do anything about itI had the car fax and everything stating there was nothing wrong with the carBroadway Auto Mart told me it was driven all the time with no issueThey say they don't know what happened with it after we left

Had to make cash payments totaling $ Vehicle was released to me without a temp tag DMV said car could not ever be licensed until repairs are made I called the Auto Mart and was told to bring it back to them They said (the owner) that if it wasn't major he would fix it As I was trying to return it, the motor blew on the highway He said if I had it towed off the highway to them, he would check it out and see what the problem was I asked him to have it towed because I had just got the carHe said No, so I had it towed to the Auto Mart It sat there about a week and a half He finally called me and said the motor was goneHe said it cost $to fix He said he would pay $and I need to pay another $ He (***) said he would release the car to me after I give him another $cash I told him that was not fair because he knew the motor was bad when he sold it to me That's his final word and we have not talked since then They have physical possession o

I purchased a Lumina Chevy on 3/8/from Broadway Auto Mart for $cash When I took it to have my safety and emissions tests on 3/9, the car stopped running The mechanic told me that the car should never have been sold at $with over 227,miles on it The car will not pass inspection

I do not own the vehicle legally because the title is in several other names, has a lien on itI lost the $there is nothing I can do about itI am not willing to put another $into the carI cannot get the title in my nameThe DMV was unable to offer anything other then temp tags because of the failed emissions testI could not plate the carI paid money for this car and I don't even own itI have no rights to the vehicle just the headaches I've been left with regarding it

I offered to pay half, and she does have the vehicle in her possession. She came back and got the car, and she does have a safety inspection.

I am rejecting this response because:I didn't hv it towed to gateway auto I told the sells man [redacted] that I couldn't afford the tow fee,and his response was that he didn't know what else to do for me because I was to far away. So,yes I did speak to [redacted] at the car lot today 3/14/17 an told him the car was fixed by my uncle .I did not say it was a easy fix. This is why I want my money back an don't want to do business with such shady people who live I rather take my business elsewhere.Through out the how are deal no one called not wants to see if everything was OK with me in the car until [redacted] called me this morning being sneaky trying to get a report from me to give to the Revdex.com I'm not going to tell a lie but it does not change the fact that the car that they sold me is a lemon and I want my money back I was overcharged for the lemon anyway.

Ms. [redacted] did contact Broadway Auto Mart about her vehicle not running on 3/9/17. She was told to take the vehicle to gateway Automotive at [redacted]. and Broadway Auto Mart would pay to have her vehicle diagnosed Ms. [redacted] refused to take her vehicle to gateway Automotive and on 3/14/17 I...

contacted Ms. [redacted] and she stated that her uncle had fixed the vehicle and that it was a simple fix. She also stated that the vehicle was safety inspected and I told her that she could take the vehicle to gateway Automotive and Broadway Auto Mart would pay for the emissions. I believe this issue has been resolved.

She was to pay us $2,950 for the Monte Carlo.  The $3,300 included the interest from her credit union.  The check we received from her finance company was only $2,160 plus $185 in cash.  She still owes us $700 for the car.  For an ‘02 Monte Carlo, a used motor is between...

$500-$800.  We can wipe off the $700 she owes us clean to replace the motor in the car.  We talked to the previous owner and there were no issues at all.  We sold it to her about 4 days after we received it.  It was inspected, Car Fax – everything – the whole 9 yards, so I’m not sure what happened when her son drove it.  She took it to a shop who was trying to charge her about $3,500 to put a motor in, which is crazy for an ‘02.  We would like to waive the extra $700 she owes us to get her a replacement motor.

She did purchase a 2000 Mazda on 10-8-16. She made several payments totaling $1850. The vehicle was safety inspected  but not emissions tested. Due to the battery  being dead and the monitors not being set. She was asked to drive the vehicle Saturday and Sunday and take it back to the shop...

Monday 10-10-16 for the emission test. Broadway Auto mart had already paid for both tests. She did not take the vehicle back on Monday, and sometime during the week she called and stated the vehicle had stopped on the highway. She had the vehicle towed here I then had the vehicle towed to the repair shop. The vehicle was diagnosed with a bad motor. I called her and told her Broadway Automart would pay half the repair bill to replace the motor, and to this day I have not heard back from her. The vehicle was legal and she was able to obtain the license plate with the safety inspection only. We offered to pay half the repair bill and I believe that offer is more than fair because she purchased the vehicle as is no warranty and signed the docs stating that.

She made a down payment of $1,400.00 and I did not charge her any finance fees. This leaves her a balance of $930.40. Her first payment of $200.00 was to be made on 3/21/15, which was exactly two weeks from purchase date. [redacted] called me to inform me that she would be not be able to make the two week payment. l tried to help her and told her to bring in anything she could. [redacted] made a payment of $80.00 on 3/21/15 bringing her balance to $850.40. No further payments were made on the vehicle. She owes $120.00 from the month of March/2015, $150.00 for April/2015, $150.00 for May/2015, and a repo fee of $500.00. That is a grand total of $920.00. l figured that was too much on her seeing that she only had a balance of $850.40. Therefore, instead of charging her all the extra fees, I offered her to just pay the $850.40 and she could have the van along with the title. [redacted] refused to listen to any offers I tried to make her. She was adamant on making a payment of $140.00 but she is simply too far behind in payments for us to be able to release the van for that amount of money. The van was recovered on 5/20/15. We outsource our repossessions to a company called [redacted]. This means that they are not in any way associated with Broadway Auto Mart.
