Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I moved to Ohio less than a month ago for UtahIn Utah, anyone purchasing a vehicle from a dealership as a 72-hour grace period AFTER purchasing a vehicle where they can return the vehicle for any reasonIt is typical in Utah that his hour period is the time allotted to get an inspection, and if it is unsatisfactory, you can return the car for a full refund So the claim that I had no interest in getting an inspection is untrueAnd I did tell them my intention to take it to get inspectedThey just neglected to mention the difference in laws here in OhioAnd once again, the dealership is offering only enough to tell me just how screwed up this truck is, but nothing to fix it, or in reimburse any of the loss, in any way They are continuing to avoid any responsibility of their decision to sell an unsafe, and unreliable vehicle If I bring the truck to them for "diagnostics", and the truck does have these problems, what are they going to do? I already have a list of problems with this truckA 2nd list doesn't do me much goodWhat are they actually offering? Are they offering a refund? Are they offering to do repairs? I moved to Ohio less than a month ago for Utah. In Utah, anyone purchasing a vehicle from a dealership as a 72-hour grace period AFTER purchasing a vehicle where they can return the vehicle for any reason. It is typical in Utah that his 72 hour period is the time allotted to get an inspection, and if it is unsatisfactory, you can return the car for a full refund.  So the claim that I had no interest in getting an inspection is untrue. And I did tell them my intention to take it to get inspected. He test drove the vehicle at length ( over 30 minutes ) and declined taking it to a mechanic shop despite his misleading and unclear statement that “When...

buying I told them ( Broadway Auto )  I planned to get the truck inspected but wasn't informed that I could get it inspected before buying”. Upon returning from the long test drive the sales representative discussed the truck with [redacted] and as is evident in his unclear statement at no point would we or could we stop [redacted] from getting the truck inspected, as he test drove it at length and was more than welcome to have it inspected. Instead, [redacted] decided to purchase an as is used vehicle after test driving and declining a professional mechanical inspection. Another interesting part of [redacted] story is that the next morning after buying the vehicle it did not start and had to be towed. This is simply false, [redacted] made the 50+mile drive from twinsburg two days later to pick up his subaru IN THE NEWLY PURCHASED F150 MENTIONED IN THE COMPLAINT which he drove home the day he purchased  “to make sure the f150 drove good”. In conclusion there are many fabrications in [redacted] side of the story, we do allow mechanical inspections on ANY of our vehicles. Our offer to resolve the issue with [redacted] is to have our own mechanics reinspect the truck, or as previously offered to him have a respected third party shop inspect the vehicle.

I had a very pleasant experience buying my car from Broadway Auto. I have also taken it there for routine maintenance and I am pleased with the results.
