Carol O*** of Broadway Darling Ragamuffins sold my family two kittens, one of whom died from the FIP virusShe refused to offer any monetary compensation back, and told us that the AZ pet lemon law did not apply to herWhen she went to finally offer us a replacement kitten, she then warned us that after speaking with her vet, that maybe we shouldn't take one nowThis frightens me into thinking that she will sell all of the rest of her litter of kittens, without warning anyone that we bought a kitten from her that had the infections coronavirus, which is highly prevalent in catteriesThis virus is what lead to the death of our kittenShe said she would honor no warranty if the kitten was put down while sick, and we had to do everything in our power for her to keep her aliveWe ran up bills north of 9k on surgical procedures and testing to keep her with usShe would have survived, had it not been for the virusShe was also afflicted with Hydrocephalus and a cerebral herniation,

I can supply supporting documents regarding FIP given to me by my vet. The Hydrocephalus  head injury is not congenital. If it was congenital the kitten would have died with in hours to a few days after birth. This information comes straight from my vet after reading the doctor notes from the treating vet. The stress of the head injury brought on the FIP. This does concern me greatly that the kitten had such a severe head injury. I do believe it was probably an accident not intentionally. I do not refund money for vet bills or purchase of the kitten. this is all in the contract He signed. I will replace the kitten at no cost per my contract of a health warranty of 2 years.

I did see a response in the Revdex.com complaint page that Carol gave last week. She accuses us of causing head trauma, which led to FIP and killed her. This is so disgusting on her part, and the entire response was riddled with incorrect information. Her statistic that 80-90% of cats carry FIP is incorrect. FIP is caused from the Coronavirus, which in catteries like hers is at a rate of 80-90%. Normal cat population is more around 30%. Also, the head swelling in our little girl was caused by Hydrocephalus, a congenital condition she was born with and slowly worsened over time with a buildup of CSF fluid in the brain. This caused her brain to herniate, requiring surgery. This woman wants to take no responsibility, financially or personally, for what has happened to Phoebe. When doing a search I also found out that she works for the Arizona Revdex.com.

I have followed the contract to the letter. The buyer is still entitled to a replacement kitten of his choice for up to a year from his purchase date. This is my first experience with Fip in any of my cats. According to veterinary studies about 80 to 85% of all cats carry Fip  but only 3 to 5%...

The over the top measures taken definitely put the kitten in high stress. In conclusion if the head injury had not occurred and caused stress, the Fip would not have occurred. The buyer has a second kitten from me that was purchased at the same time and she is fine. She does not have Fip and is healthy according to the buyers veterinarian.
