 The company said that the chairs will be delivered. I was promised a tracking number by the end of the week of 6/*/2014 and delivery by the end of the week of 6/**/2014. None has occurred. When contacted the business, I was told that the delivery driver had the chairs but he was nowhere to be found. Still no tracking number or product. Apparently the delivery driver might have stolen my chairs. I have no idea how this company is still in business.

Review: On Saturday ** March 2014, I purchased a media tower/console from Big Apple Style Furniture located at [redacted]. I was assured by staff person [redacted] that the delivery service would be "white glove" and efficient taking no more than two hours maximum to assemble the media tower/console. The delivery service that arrived was clearly unprepared to assemble the merchandise. After 4 1/2 hours of working on the merchandise, I called Big Apple Style Furniture and spoke to [redacted]. His behavior was highly unprofessional and even hostile. He took no responsibility for the situation, denied having previously stated the assembly time and made no attempt to offer any restitution, not even an apology. In fact he became extremely aggressive saying that he should not be expected to know how long the merchandise would take to assemble. I tried to reason with him stating that as a seller of furniture he should be at least know a basic time frame for assembly and, in fact, he had said it would take a maximum of two hours. He became more and more angry and finally it was evident that the conversation needed to be terminated. When the delivery staff finally left after 5 1/2 hours, I began to place the TV and other components on it. Readily it became obvious that the entire merchandise was unstable to the point of dangerous. No TV or other component could safely be placed on the merchandise as it was assembled because the work was done so poorly. Basically the merchandise is useless now. Given that [redacted] at Big Apple Style Furniture was unwilling to have a civil conversation about the assembly time, re-contacting him about returning it and having the charge removed from my credit card, would be impossible.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the purchase price and the removal of the merchandise from my home.

Review: The shipment arrived while I was out of town working. The driver called me and informed me that he was by himself and that he needed me to come down from the apartment to help him deliver the shipment. Why would a shipping company send one man to deliver furniture that weighed approximately 500lbs?? In desperation I told the driver that if he could manage to deliver the furniture to my apartment I would have my wife pay him $100 cash. As the driver was unpacking the furniture, my wife and the driver both noticed damage to both items. She immediately asked the driver to take the furniture back and he flat out refused. At that very moment I called Big Apple furniture and explained the sitution and they said that they would handle it. The driver made a note on the receipt that the items were damaged. The driver did remove packing material on his departure. Big Apple furniture then told me that they would make a claim concerning the damage. Since then Big Apple furniture has been unwilling to pick up the furniture. This has been going on for months now and I'm left with a two pieces of damaged furniture and one piece isn't even the exact piece that I ordered. Big Apple Style Furniture has shown no real interest in resolving the situation. Now I'm stuck with 2 pieces of furniture that I don't want and I'm out almost $1700.Desired Settlement: I don't see how any of this is my fault and I feel like a 100% refund is warranted. I do not want the furniture and I am waiting for Big Apple furniture to retrieve their damaged goods. However, At this point in time I would like to resolve the issue and I would be willing to accept an 80% refund just so all parties could move on. Best Regards, [redacted]

Review: Ordered 6 dining room chairs on March **, 2014. Have not received the chairs as of May **, 2014. When I try to call the store regarding the status of my item, I am told that I need to speak with a [redacted] is never around. One time I called to be told that [redacted] is at lunch until 3 and will receive a call back. Never received a call. When I called back, I was told that [redacted] just left for lunch. Sometimes I called and was told that [redacted] is available. Spent 45 minutes on hold - Noone picked up the phone.

Am not able to get any information about my order but was charged on the credit card the day of the order. I payed for no product and horrible service.Desired Settlement: Do not wish to do business with this company. Please return the money and cancel the order. I would do it but noone is willing to talk over the phone. My next option is to get in my car and drive to New York.
