After waiting for 1 1/2 hours for completion of an order and communication, the manager/owner became disgruntled, demanded payment, and called police.After waiting 1 1/2 hours for completion of an order and communication from servers regarding the order, the manager/owner was finally contacted. He indicated that he would take 10% off for the order and that the percentage was all he could do, despite the order coming to approximately $92, our very long wait (that included the appetites of children), and poor customer service. He then said, dont tip, removed the 10% discount and threatened us with calling the police. Approximately, 5 minutes later, the police arrived all without provocation. We simply wanted to discuss the dispute and he refused. As explained to the MPD, there was no disorderly conduct or rudeness and we did not understand why the police were called. The officer said that the owner indicated that we threatened nonpayment; which was not the case. I was forced to pay for services that were not only rendered, but not rendered adequately. Desired SettlementI am requesting an apology for such harsh treatment and a refund. Business Response In the report the customer complained of an hour and a half wait. The customer was seated upon arrival, and we attempted to take their order several times. After 30 minutes of reviewing the menu they placed their order. When the order was placed the wait time was estimated at 45 minutes. They mentioned their children were hungry now. In response, they were asked if they would like for their entire order to come out at the same time or for us to make it as fast as possible and bring the food out as it was prepared. They decided for the food to come out as soon as possible. From the time they ordered until the time their food began arriving at the table was 40 minutes.The entirity of the order was served within 55 minutes. All of the order except one pizza was served within the estimated 45 minutes. When the complaint was brought to the owner's attention it had been 1 1/2 hours since they arrived. He spoke with the customer about their service, and they were dissatisfied with the wait time. Our owner checked the wait time,and explained that on the weekends we have 45 minutes to an hour wait from the time the food is ordered. He then offered to give them 10% off since one pizza arrived 10 minutes past the estimated wait time. When 10% off was offered the customers became irrate, and they began yelling "10% ain't s[redacted]" loud enough to disturb other patrons. When the customers began to act irrational, our owner requested that they pay the entirity of their bill and leave. They said they weren't "going to pay the mother[redacted]er". That was the point at which the police were called because they refused to leave and/or pay their bill for the food which had already been eaten. In the last line of the complaint the customer agrees that the services were rendered but not adequately. We attempted to serve them to the best of our ability until they began to disturb other guests and were rude to management. We are sorry for the unpleasant experience, but we stand by our decision. Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)This is quite an unfortunate response as it in its entirety is not only incorrect, but untrue. This can be verified withe the [redacted] Police Department upon their call as they surveyed customers to substantiate our concern with the inappropriate call. The call to MPD was described as "failure to pay for services" and not "disorderly conduct." Again, this can be verified with MPD. Also, we received no such customer service upon seating and ordering. We were informed of the 30-40 minute wait and agreed to it; however there was no option to receive food as it came out of the oven. We were in fact given the food as it was ready but did not receive the last pizza that we were made to pay for. After a complaint, conversing with the police, and prompt payment,I asked for the Revdex.com information along with City licensure and was denied by the owner and asked to leave.At which he called the police a 2nd time. We did not receive the services rendered even after prompt payment and lack of customer service and calls to authorities. As I have taken the matter up with my credit card company as well, I do ask for a full refund and an apology for slander as well as libel in regards to this current response as well as for what was spoken to the MPD on the dateof the incident in question.

Complaint Broadway Pizza would not honor the $4.00 off February coupon I presented because it was February 28th and the coupon expired on February 28, 2014. My family was eager to try out the newly opened Braodway Pizza Restaurant located in East Memphis, TN for our weekly Friday night pizza night. I placed a phone order for a large vegetarian pizza for pick up and told the pizza associate that I also had a coupon. When I arrived to pick up the order my coupon was denied. The date was Friday, February 28, 2014 around 7:00pm. The February e-club Special Offer clearly stated that $4.00 would be taken off any large pizza up until February 28, 2014. Although this was the last day of the coupon offer, it was still valid until midnight. Desired SettlementI am seeking compensation for not only the additional $4.00 but for the way I was treated unfairly. The pizza associate was rude and disrespectful. I understand that a new business usually has new hires and Friday nights are a busy, hectic time for restaurants, but lack of hospitality is not the way to treat a new patron.
