Broadway Tire and Automotive

Review: As of June 4, 2013 Broadway tires and automotive has had my vehicle. I dropped it off on May 28, 2013 to have it worked on. I provided them with a head gasket I purchased but instructed them prior to even doing any work on my vehicle to run a diagnosis because I assumed it was my head gasket that needed fixing but wasn't sure. On the 4th of June I went to pick up my vehicle because I was informed all was well and that the issue with my vehicle was repaired. The same day I had to return my vehicle to the shop because it was clear that the auto shop in fact did not fix my vehicle because it was not running properly. The shop informed me that they would take a look at it to figure out the problem. After a few days I contacted the shol to find out what the problem was because I never recieved a phone call from them. It turned out that the issue was my motor and I was going to be needing a new motor because the motor I had was done and no good anymore. It is going on 5 months now just about and still the work on my vehicle has yet to be completed. In addition, I've been contacting them every week to find out what the progress on my vehicle is but all I've been receiving is excuses after excuses. First, the shop claimed to have been short staffed so they were backed up so they asked me to be patient. Second, it was they were searching for a motor and that it's been difficult finding the right motor for my vehicle. It's even gotten to the point where on several occasion they have claimed to have my car done by the end of the week but have failed to follow through with their word. I've already been charged $1200 for work that was claimed to have been done the first time around and they are now quoting me on another $1000 for the new motor that has yet to be installed. As a result, I've had to pay out my own pocket for public transportation due to the fact that I have no other source of transportation to get to and back from work.Desired Settlement: As a solution I would like my vehicle to be completed repaired with no further charges or delays. Or my vehicle returned to me with a full refund and reimbursement for purchases of day passes for public transportation.
