I am willing to bring my vehicle back to Broadway to correct all issues that were never fully fixed back in January I was told in person that there was only a day warranty which is why it was so important to bring my vehicle back when I did on Feb21st Since you have informed me there is a year warranty, then I will bring my car back to get the items 100% fixed correctly this time at no additional cost If these items are not completely fixed and corrected as they should be, then I will take this to small claims courtThank you

When Tyonna had towed her Chrysler on Feb21stWhen we looked at her vehicle, her vehicle was overheating and coolant was running out of the radiator Any vehicle with external coolant leaks is subject to overheating because it cannot hold pressure which is a vital ingredient
to a properly functioning cooling systemTyonna authorized this repair and we replaced the radiatorWe ran it in the shop and test drove the vehicleThe vehicle was still running hotter than it was suppose to run but we were out of time and Tyonna needed her vehicleI did inform her of the problem and told her to keep an eye on itShe took the vehicle but for here it went all the way to hot so she brought it back right away and we got her a ride homeUpon looking at it further, it had additional damage, possibly collateral damage from overheatingThe vehicle tested positive for a leaking head gasketWe informed Tyonna that it was going to need additional repairsShe authorized these repairs and we proceededOnce the timing cover had been removed, we found more damageThe water pump was locked up and the bearing for the timing belt tensioner pulley had come apartThis was a very surprising development since the vehicle gave no indicator of these problemsThere was no way to anticipate additional damage that had shown us no symptomsWe informed Tyonna and negotiated with her in an attempt to help her out because she didn’t have a lot of money and we did realize the repairs were getting expensiveWe did our best to work with TyonnaWe had completed all repairs and got the vehicle back running properlyTyonna picked it up Tyonna had returned with the vehicle with her vehicle and dropped it off Sunday night for us to look at a problem with the check engine lightWe did tell here we would get it looked at on MondayUnfortunately we were very busy on Monday and we were under the impression that the vehicle had been dropped off for the day on Monday and we scheduled it in accordinglyBefore we got it in, Tyonna had informed us that we were taking to long on insisted we were not to touch it and she was going to pick it upShe did not show up to pick up here vehicle until 5:Monday afternoon which would have given us enough time to get her vehicle looked at but we no longer had authorization to look at here vehicleTyonna’s decision to pay someone else to look at her vehicle is hersShe is protected by warranty on her repairs for 2years/24,000miTo have a competing shop diagnose her vehicle to need the same repairs that were just completed, is questionable at bestWe do not have any policy that would grant a refund based on another shop who could possibly be motivated by discrediting the competitionThese repairs were completed on her vehicle and are covered by warrantyWe would be more that happy to check her vehicle out at no charge to see what the problem isWe work very hard to take care of our customers and we stand behind our workI apologize for any problems our work may have caused

We did attempt to stay in communication with the customer throughout the repair processIt was explained to her what needed to be done and that the repair could take at least a couple of weeks to complete but there was no guaranteed completion dateDuring the repair, it was discovered that there
was an upgrade to this engine that would help prevent this problem from happening again in the futureWe contacted the customer to discuss the upgrade and informed her that it would extend the time needed to complete the repairsShe authorized the upgrade and we placed the order that same dayUnfortunately, the upgrade kit went through delays in attempting to get from our supplierMy supplier put responsibility on several different problems but even calling them daily, it still took three weeks to obtain the upgrade kitWe completed the repairs as soon as we had received the partsWe did discount the repairs $for taking so long and did apologize but we were attempting to do the best job we could. We could have completed the work much sooner but wanted to try to prevent problems is the future

Tyonna stated that she would bring her vehicle back to address the concernsWe are waiting for this step to happenI have called her directly and left a message in an attempt to get her scheduled

I did apologize to the customer.  We offer used tires as an inexpensive alternative to new tires but sometimes our customers have difficulty understanding that the quality you would get in not going to be comparable to new tires. They are intended to be temporary solutions to unfortunate...

problems. We inspect every used tire we receive but it is almost impossible to detect every flaw. For this reason we warranty every used tire we sell for thirty days. We had replaced both the tires put on in order to address this customers complaint. The final outcome was just a balance problem. I am not sure why this would constitute a full refund when apparently the tires we did put on were good. As far as the wait time, it is unfortunate but our shop is first come first serve. This customer waited in line the same as others customers that were there at that time. Our work is handled in the order it was received.
