A chain link fence was installed by Broeker and Sons A post pulled out of the corner of the home which the owner stated was rotten, but failed to inform Broeker and Sons The owner was then to replace the compromised siding then Broeker and Sons was to re-install the corner posts A wood fence was also installed at an agreed price after the chain link fence The owner paid half of the original agreed to cost of the wooden fence Broeker and Sons will no longer be doing business with this customer

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: He is a lying so and so - the job was paid in full at the time of his doing the work. He was to return upon the completion of the work on the house and was called on May to do so - kept putting it off and putting it off - then e-mailed me that he would do it when he felt like it - I have all the receipts etc etc PLUS the fact the wood fence was of such poor workmanship it is falling down PLUS the fact we installed the gate back there ourselves. I would never in my life recommend him to anyone - even on my death bed. Plus this wood fence was way over charged - prox 30' and over $3,- a "slip-shod" job if one ever saw it.Sincerely,*** ***

I contacted the owner about the fence within hours of receiving a call from him
Broeker and sons replaced a post that had warped The owner has not yet contacted the Revdex.com to inform them that the posts has been replaced

Again all discussion of the fence was done with Mrs *** not Mrs ***s daughterMrs *** wanted the treated fence boards so that rhey would be maintaince free These boards are prestained while raw cedar boards need to be stainedMrs ***s daughter has no idea of the cost of the cedar boards that I purchase nor does she know where I purchase those boardsI have still heard no complaints from Mrs *** only from Mrs ***s daughterIt does seem that if there are issues then I would have contact with the person that I was in contact with through the entire process

As promised, please find attached a copy of the invoice Broeker gave my mother.  My main points are that Broeker specified "cedar" and also stated he would 'match existing', but used pine (significantly less expensive than cedar and not as sturdy...is warping already) instead and did not match existing and did not adjust the charge accordingly. 
He called my polite mother, the caregiver of my father, the evening before showing up to do the work and asked if he could switch the cedar to pine, telling her it was 'just the same','just as good'.  It isn't, as evidenced, if for no other reason, by the difference in cost.

Along with sub-par work, Broeker took advantage of an elder.  He is trying to divert attention away from the bait and switch he did (promise cedar, use fir, pocket the extra $) by focusing on my involvement. Mom is fully aware of my involvement.
Please find attached [redacted]'s statement.  She was swindled by this man, who very craftily got her to open up to him about her struggles as caregiver to my Dad, who has Alzheimers.  Broeker then further manipulated her emotions by talking about his church involvement and four children.  Then pressured her by calling right away for her decision.  Photos of the poor workmanship/sloppy work done on the fence remain available. Multiple items had to be fixed after Broeker stopped and Broeker made no refund or price adjustment.
I am concerned that this is his normal mode, that he preys on elderly and we wish to at least help prevent anyone else from having to go through the same.Sincerely,[redacted]

Broeker and Sons was contracted to work for Mrs [redacted].  Three panels of fencing were installed then it was inquired of Mrs [redacted] if the fencing was the type that she was expecting.  After Mrs [redacted] confirmed that the fence was what she expected then Broeker and Sons completed the fence....

 Mrs [redacted] has never indicated to Broeker and Sons of any concerns other than the gate latch, which was replaced. Mrs [redacted] was quite irritated that her daughter had contacted Broeker and Sons at all.  Broeker and Sons did not have a contract with Mrs [redacted]s daughter therefore Broeker and Sons will not continue conversations with Mrs [redacted]s daughter only Mrs [redacted]
