    The $89 motor was exact same motor as the one we bought from Brogans and was wired up the same . and it is still running.  Over the phone He told me he wasn't going to send the motor back to the supplier because said it was the church's fault it was burnt up.  Also it was not a coal mine electrician that installed but a certified appliance  and furnace repair man.  I've been an electrician for 40 years and he confided in as he  wired it up.  If he did not have the motor replaced have him return the motor to use and we'll take to be analyzed.  This doesn't sound like him writing this, but the hateful and belligerent woman that hung up the phone while I was trying to talk to her.  All I have written is true and I believe Brogans is not been exactly truthful.

The said customer was in our office on 12/13/17 and purchased a motor for $189.00. As the motor sold to him was a multi speed universal motor which contained more wires than the motor he was replacing, the included wiring diagram was brought to his attention. his invoice, all of our invoices include the statement "No Return On Electrical Motors & Controls" across the top. This statement was circled as is our standard procedure. We also have a red sign above these items stating the same no return policy. The next day the customer called the office stating that he and his coal mining electrician friend had installed the motor, it ran for 30 minutes then quit. He was reminded that it is not our policy to refund or replace motors because there is no way to tell it the customer failed to wire up correctly. That we do offer a 1 year warrenty on motors that we install ourselves. Customer then said, "Can't you just help a Church out and say it was hooked up correctly". When stated that we can not do that the customer became very aggressive and rude. He was then told that if he could figure out a way to prove it was installed correctly he would be given another motor. A couple days later the customer came into the office with the motor we sold him and an empty box from a motor he said he had bought else where for $89.00. My Secretary told him he could just leave it for me to evaluate as I was out on service calls. The customer then became very belligerent with the secretary demanding his money back. Four HVAC Service Technicians from our Company and a HVAC Tech Instructor from the company where we purchased our motor looked at the returned motor and found that it had indeed been wired wrong. As can been seen by the enclosed pictures, The customer had the common wire from the motor going to the capacitor when there was no common coming to the capacitor. Also, had one of the wires that determines the speed of the motor going to the common which is incorrect. It is very slanderous to state, without fact, that we sent the motor back and received the money. If necessary, we could get some documentation from the company where we purchased the motor showing that we did not return it nor did we get a replacement or refund for said motor.
