Dear Mr***: My name is Dan [redacted] I represent Broke Guys Auto Repair (“we”, “us”, “Broke Guys AutoRepair”)We have received your complaint to the Revdex.com dated January 18,and have investigated the matter On October 4, 2016, you came into the shop with your Cutlass Supreme and requested aninspection of your engineWe determined that due to numerous issues with the engine, that anew one be installedYou agreed with this recommendationWe requested bids from suppliersand were able to locate a used engineA written estimate detailing the costs of the engine,additional parts, and labor was provided to you and you agreed to the repairs We understand that you had some issues with the vehicle starting after the repairs werecompletedHowever, these issues are not related to the repairsAs we attempted to explain, theage of the vehicle and the cold weather prevented the vehicle from reaching its operatingtemperature in a timely fashionAs such it would take some time for the engine to properly start.Furthermore, the other problems you described were caused by bad gasoline and damagedsensorsThe bad gasoline problem was alleviated by running the engine until it was burned offand the faulty sensors were replaced Currently the vehicle is starting in a much timelier fashion, however the weather will still be afactor as these older vehicles and engines will experience problems with low temperatures.Presently, there is still an outstanding balance of $which consists of both the originalengine repair and the additional repairs you agreed toYour vehicle is currently in ourpossession and will be returned to you once this outstanding balance is paid If you have any questioned or wish to pay your outstanding balance, please contact BrokeGuys Auto Repair at (509) 483-
