AVOID!!!!!
Worst experience ever. They never communicated after signing papers. No invoices to keep track of records. Rude employees. Just an all around horrible experience and my credit is even worse now then before. What a joke for a company

Parveen, thank you for your warm, professional support. I was deep in the swamp, drowning in debt, and you showed me the way out. Always very personable, you went the extra mile to make my Consumer Proposal extra-acceptable to my creditors. And they immediately accepted it! Now I feel back in control of my life. And I can sleep well again. Thank you.

Bromwich + Smith saved my life. I was in a very dark place, and the supportive staff at Bromwich + Smith made me feel less alone, and never made me feel stupid. They celebrated the small victories with me and that was important. $60,000 in debt and they gave me a plan to rebuild my finances and my life. They showed me hope, grace, and understanding. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone looking to re-shape their fiances. I have made some poor decisions in my youth that lead to to Bankruptcy. I was in a very dark place but thanks to the help at Bromwich & Smith Inc they made my life a lot more brighter! Ween I first made the call Erica answered and she was so well mannered, helpful over the phone and just up beat! Ween we processed most of my information we made a appointment at the Edmonton Kingsway branch to meet with Parveen & Adam to start my Bankruptcy. At first I was shameful and just unsure how these will go but Parveen & Adam connected with that made these process A LOT easier, was very helpful with the information and explaining point by point, and was understanding and didn't judged me or mistreated me. After the appointment I'm in a better peace of mind and not so much as stressed out! THANK YOU Bromwich & Smith Inc, Erica, Parveen and Adam for giving me a second chance and a clean start! I wish for all of you the BEST karma and God Bless you!!!

If you need help and no judgement this is the lady to go see. She was very helpful and kind, she listened with no judgement. She is in the edmonton area! She thought me things about budgeting I didn't know.

If I could give them no stars I would. If you get gst or any tax credit like that, that they legally can't keep, they keep it and you have to go through the government because Bromwich and Smith will NEVER return your calls. They also don't do your taxes until halfway through the year, so don't count on that. They will pass you onto someone else. Once you get discharged all your accounts will be reopened, even though they were closed. *** Go with a different company and save yourself the extra stress and your concerns not being addressed.

I never even thought this was an option, Peter *** is without a doubt one of a kind. First class all the way and the knowledge he has about bankruptcy is truly staggering. Should anyone have to go through this process I would more than highly recommend not just Bromwich+Smith however, see Peter ***, I have recommended others to Peter and they all have the same comment. First class individual through and through.

Peter and his team made me feel welcome and were able to rid me of the fears that I’d had about the process of entering into a consumer proposal. Peter gave great advice, and was so completely non-judgemental. It was a relief!

I have been very lucky to have such a good experience with Bromwich and Smith right from the start. First on the phone with Braden *** getting started was very easy. Then in person with the charismatic and friendly Peter *** Who knew bankruptcy could be so fun :)

Absolutely horrible! ***. Bankruptcy is frustrating enough without dealing with an *** company! They do not return calls or respond to emails. After discharge, they took a tax refund that they had no right to, getting a response to have this returned is not happening. If I could leave them negative stars I would. ***! Stay away!!!

The problem that ive encounter with this company was when I ask assistance to them before I sign the document is they told me that their services are free due to they are funded by a government tariff, etc. I have also ask there employee that has a name Ernesto U, he told me on the phone way back May 2017 that it is free, so I sign up to them. I have submitted a consumer proposal application to all my creditors to them. after they made some application forms for me to sign up, they never told me any fees that I need to pay for they are just telling me that the money I was providing them is for my creditors. after 3 months my proposal was declined, I had already paid $900 to them which they told me they pay it will be paid to my creditors. since then, im asking them about the money they just told me after 2 weeks since after my firsts *** that the money I paid I gone. they are showing me some list that im not aware of since I sign a document.

When I was there signing that document that day they never discuss it to me about the fees for their services. they ask me to sign a form which has ive sign the first page knot knowing that there is a second page stating the amount I need to pay. they never show me the 2nd page.

So now, they sent me the document which has 2 pages but I only sign the first page not knowing there is a second one. ***.

With respect to the payments that you made on the consumer proposal that you filed with us on June 21, 2017, they were distributed in accordance with the Rule 129, 131 and 132 in the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. For further clarification, the fees of the administrator are based on a tariff that is set by the government. *** In your case, the proposal was declined by your creditors. There continues to be options for you such as bankruptcy. We would be happy to assist you to ensure that you can find financial relief and begin to rebuild.
