Brongo Supply is a contractor hub for recycling and wholesale supply of construction materialsWe do allow shared savings with homeownersThe customer did call and speak directly with the owner, said he had a trailer and would be making multiple tripsIt was assumed this trailer was being hauled by a atleast a pickup truck, and a trailer with capacity for the yard minimum which we have at our loading facility- which primarily is for contractors and capacity vehicles onlyThe employee asked the loading capacity of the "mini van" and "very small trailer" - the driver of the vehicle could not provide aquedate informationThe owner authorized the employee to load to a safe capacity, where as the garden mix weights tons while saturdated in this current climate / per cuibic yardThe customer left with a safe half of a yard weighting aproximetly tons - which was adeqaute for the trailerWe charged a yard minimum of $+ tax, because we have a loading minimum of yard of picked up material. If I authorized my team to overload this vehicle, allowed this "mini van" and "very small trailer" to haul feet of incline and the trailer hitch broke? whose fault would it be? or if they had gotten pulled over, caused an accident due to negligence - that would be on my business? I was completely ethical and honestBottom line we have a yard or ton minimum for all loadingOtherwise I should just allow mini vans to come in and hand shovel material in their back seatsI will refund the money simply as I dont need bad apple in to rotten my entire bushel of happy continued customers of years as a small - women owned business

The Brongo Contracting and Supply owner gives an account of what transpired from the beginning of the transaction with the customer that is not true She saw the customer's van and trailer and let him go on through the gate without discussing the load capacity or saying anything up front about not being willing to give him the full yard; she suggests that the customer when asked could not provide accurate information about the load capacity; however, she never did question him about this at that time He did in fact know this information Nothing was said in fact, until the customer remarked that the amount of soil mix was not a full yard Only then did he receive any explanation; this makes one suspect that if he had not questioned it, she would never have brought it up; at this point the customer was in a predicament: either to unload & leave what had already been loaded, or just accept the approximately 1/yard while paying for a full yard The owner only then told him he could not return for the remainder, and also then told him he would be over - charged The issue is not the amount of money the customer was being cheated out of, so much as the principle of it: the dishonesty and deception of the owner I'm not sure how other customers are being dealt with; perhaps she is more honest and fair with larger, more regular customers Anyway, I plan never to do any business with her again, and will be sure to inform others of her questionable business ethics

Brongo Supply is a contractor hub for recycling and wholesale supply of construction materials. We do allow shared savings with homeowners. The customer did call and speak directly with the owner, said he had a trailer and would be making multiple trips. It was assumed this trailer was being...

hauled by a atleast a pickup truck, and a trailer with capacity for the 1 yard minimum which we have at our loading facility- which primarily is for contractors and capacity vehicles only. The employee asked the loading capacity of the "mini van" and "very small trailer" - the driver of the vehicle could not provide aquedate information. The owner authorized the employee to load to a safe capacity, where as the garden mix weights 1.5 tons while saturdated in this current climate / per cuibic yard. The customer left with a safe half of a yard weighting aproximetly .75 tons - which was adeqaute for the trailer. We charged a 1 yard minimum of $25.00 + tax, because we have a loading minimum of 1 yard of picked up material. If I authorized my team to overload this vehicle, allowed this "mini van" and "very small trailer" to haul 80 feet of incline and the trailer hitch broke? whose fault would it be? or if they had gotten pulled over, caused an accident due to negligence - that would be on my business? I was completely ethical and honest. Bottom line we have a 1 yard or 1 ton minimum for all loading. Otherwise I should just allow mini vans to come in and hand shovel material in their back seats. I will refund the money simply as I dont need 1 bad apple in to rotten my entire bushel of happy continued customers of 6 years as a small - women owned business.
