Review: In 12/2014 I walked into this business to purchase a vehicle. I knew exactly what I wanted (Nissan Maxima) but was convinced by the salesman to purchase a used Nissan Rogue because I was told that I didn't have good enough credit to get the vehicle I wanted. Knowing I have good credit I trusted what was told to me by the salesman and his manager that yes I do have good credit but it's different when you're purchasing a car. As a first time car buyer, I believed them and eventually walked out with the Nissan Rogue suggested by the salesman not fully understanding the papers I signed showing that I purchased a vehicle for over $24,000 which was worth only $15,000 . After taxes and interest I will be paying over $30,000 for a vehicle and will be left with a $15,000 negative equity. I went back the next day, spoke with the salesman and the manager. The manager offered to pay my first payment and told me that there's nothing else he can do until I receive the title in the mail which should come in about 3 months. When I received my first bill I took it in to the manager. The next month, I received my statement showing a late fee because the bill was not paid on time. I went back again, the manager offered me no explanation but free gas. I received the title to the car within a couple of weeks, again I went back to the dealership. The manager basically disregarded the initial things he told me and stated that it was too soon to change into another vehicle. I needed to wait until I make a few more payments. I've now had this car for 5 months and been trying to reach the general manager who I have not spoken with at all. The bottom line is that knowing that I had no knowledge of purchasing a vehicle, the salesman and the manager got over on me with a $15,000 negative equity and now they're giving me the runaround. It appears that for some reason they just wanted to get rid of the Nissan Rogue and it was thrown on me.Desired Settlement: I know my credit is good and that I could have gotten the vehicle that I really wanted so I would like a reduction in my loan or a vehicle acceptable to the value of the car loan
