The business has responded.  Please see below:[redacted] was notified of the payment terms in writing on the date that the transaction was processed. Brook Farm Veterinary Center called Merchant Services upon the customer's original request to have the financing options changed to 0%...

interest for 18 months (instead of at the current rate of 14.9%), at which point we were told that the choice was outside of our control and unchangeable. We relayed this information to [redacted] and encouraged her to speak with [redacted] bank, the issuer of her CareCredit card, in order to see the matter resolved. Please note that Brook Farm Veterinary Center is in no way affected by the interest rate applied by the bank and stands nothing to gain should the interest rate remain at the original 14.9%. [redacted] was one of two clients to bring this concern regarding [redacted] bank to our attention: in both cases, Brook Farm contacted the Merchant Services department promptly in order to see th e issues resolved. Upon receiving this complaint, we called Merchant Services once again, explained the situation, and came to an agreement where the terms would be changed and [redacted] would be refunded the interest charged. We were informed that this would take approximately 7 to 10 business days to take effect and were given case # [redacted] to refer to. This meets the terms requested by the cardholder and reflects their desired settlement.

Review: I recently applied for a "Care Credit" card at Brook Farm Veterinary Center. The terms of use were 0% financing for 18 months. Upon receiving my monthly invoice from [redacted], the lender of Care Credit, I was charged an interest rate of 14.9%

I had asked Brook Farm about the issue and they claim they are unable to change this. I contacted [redacted] and they claim it is the responsibility of the business to make the correction. I have filed an official complaint with Synergy and received the same answer from them as original, it is up to Brook farm to help the situation. Brook farm claims they are unable to make the change and has issued no further help.

I am also a prior employee of Brook Farm, and I was also aware during my employment that this same situation has occurred with numerous other clients, making the same complaint and a list was being kept.

At this point both companies are unwilling to make any further attempt to achieve the 0% financing.Desired Settlement: 0% financing for 18 months.
