Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/10/16) */ A leak survey was conducted on the main and service lines in the XXXXX block of [redacted] including the 4 inch valve, main and service line at XXXXX [redacted] . The leak test was executed by independent contractor Utility Technical Services... who are leak detection specialists. The cost to the district for this service was $375.00. The result of the survey is as follows : No leak noise was observed. Meaning there is no leak in the area. BFWD has tested the water referenced by [redacted] at XXXXX [redacted] , and found no chlorine present. These tests reinforce the leak detection specialists that no leak is present. BFWD monitors tank levels, well productions, and monthly water usage as part of our normal operating procedures to determine if there is any abnormal usage. We will continue to monitor our operations. If we notice any abnormal water usage, we start actions to correct the situation. Springs come and go in the area each year. This is dependent upon the yearly precipitation and can change from year to year. Some areas have springs that might continual each year varying by the yearly precipitation.
