Brookland Financial Reviews (35)

Original estimate was written to replace the customer's rocker panels per the customer's request. However, we had another company review the estimate and learned  the rocker panels can be repaired. The business that wrote the original estimate also agreed the rocker panels could be...

repaired. We paid the customer $1,390.98, the cost of repairing the panels. Since the vehicle is 15 years old, we do not owe to put new parts on the vehicle.

Customer's tire was warrantied out and given a $93.75 credit. Customer paid $31.25 for the new tire (valued at $125). Customer also purchased 2 warranties for $38 total which we will refund if customer would like.

We have take care of the customer's desired settlement. We had replaced his lugs and locks at no charge. Thank you!

We received the receipt from the customer and we are reimbursing them for the damaged lug bolt. We have left a message for the customer to either stop by the store to pick up or to give the store a call and let them know if they would like it mailed to them.

Discount Tire covered the expense of repairing the damaged hub from the tire installation. Discount Tire is not liable/responsible for additional or new damage created by another company. This complaint should be directed to [redacted] and removed from our records.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

The manager of the store sent an email to the customer explaining the warranty process was executed correctly. He has offered the desired refund to the customer due to the lack of communication and understanding. He is waiting for a reply back from the customer. Thank you.

I did not 'voluntarily' purchase anything, the salesman TOLD me that my tires would be covered in the future.  AND, they did return the tire - AS REQUESTED AFTER I WENT BACK AND GOT IT.  The tire they replaced was not ruined and they sold me a tire without even seeing or checking out the flat one.  If they don't honor my valid complaint I will never do business w/them again and I've done business w/them for the past 30 years!!!  THis is the first time they've EVER pulled anything like this on me.  The fact that I'm FEMALE I'm sure had something to do with the crap they were feeding me.  Again, 3 mechanics looked at this tire and said it was OK, in fact the man who changed it said he could've and should've just plugged the hole and put it back on.  The salesman shd be cautioned about pulling crap like this in the future.

Customer provided an estimate that was mutually agreed upon by DT and the customer. DT paid the amount of the estimate provided by the customer and considers the matter resolved. Anything above the agreed upon amount is the customer's responsibility.

Customer returned to store on 9/15 and we were able to swap out the tire and issued customer a credit. Customer is satisfied with resolution.

This complaint should be removed from our records and forwarded to our Claims department. Please remove from the AZ Regional office records and resubmit to Claims a[redacted] to the attention of Robert R[redacted] - Claims Department. Thank you!

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The response contains no resolution offers. It merely reiterates the complaint. They damaged body panels and are refusing to provide compensation necessary to have them replaced. Adding that the age of the vehicle somehow precludes them from conducting business in an ethical manner. Masking damage done to a customers vehicle is an inappropriate proposal regardless of the vehicles age.

Customer's tire was delivered to the store in 3 business days. The same impact that damaged the tire also damaged the wheel. The customer's tire is being covered by our certificate program but the customer is responsible for the wheel cost. Customer has the option whether or not they would like to...

put the certificate on the new tire.

The response from Discount Tire is disappointing. They were the source of the problems that occurred. We were give no option except [redacted] to have the repair done. We feel Discount Tire should accept at least some responsibility in this matter. Thank you. [redacted]

Customer had a non-repairable flat tire. The customer had a prorated road hazard warranty and received a $93.75 credit towards a $125 tire, so the customer paid $31.25 for the tire plus a $16 balance just as he should have. The customer did decide to purchase 2 of our certificates for...

replacement which was an additional $19 per tire. Because the tire was a warranted item, it was not returned to the customer.
