Brookline College

I am already aware of this issue and am conducting an investigation as to how this happened. When we were made aware of this mistake on 9/3 we immediately began the process of cancelling the auto debit and notifying the bank of the mistake.

While the curriculum and instructors are great the administration is horrible. They don't care about the students and when I signed up everything was inclusive including the school paying for titers, immunizations, CPR/First Aid certification, fingerprint clearance, background screening, books and supplies, and a tablet. I never received my tablet, they started changing our books to e-books without giving us options but were still charging us for print books, they no longer provided cpr/first aid and wanted us to come up with our titers and immunizations on our own, all while still charging us the same for everything. Add to that, even with payment arrangements made, they don't abide by the arrangements and harrass the students consistently with threats of withdrawal and pulling us out of class. It was a waste of my time and money.

1. [redacted] enrolled on 5/15/2014 and received the [redacted] scholarship in the amount of $1000.00. This is an institutional scholarship granted by Brookline College to students that have received their [redacted] from ANY [redacted] facility. tuition to help students further their education.

2. We originate and certify loans based on an entire academic year, as do ALL institutions. Ms. [redacted] is upset because we only disbursed half of the loans in the first semester, AS REQUIRED BY REGULATION, however the lender will show the full amount of the loan that was originated, as it always will.

3. This has been explained to her several times and we have pages of notes documenting these conversations. She appears to be frustrated because she feels she should be awarded a larger stipend check.

4, We are always upfront with our students about the cost of attending Brookline college and the availability and eligibility of funding programs. Ms. [redacted] was given an award letter clearly outlining the cost of the program by award year, she signed an enrollment agreement that clearly detailed the cost of the entire program, and she was given all pertinent information regarding [redacted] eligibility amounts, as well as a $1,000.00 institutionally funded scholarship.  

If this is not sufficient for Ms. [redacted] I would suggest she drop from Brookline College and enroll in another institution where she can receive a larger stipend check.

I am not sure who [redacted] spoke to but I was able to locate his file and verify that he did graduate from [redacted] with a diploma in Detention and Security. I will reach out to [redacted] and send him a copy of his transcript.
