Review: I am requesting that the Brooklyn Cyclones Baseball Co. to refund me of a transaction of $90.00 made on May **, 2013 or a refund of 7 unused tickets worth $66 for the following infractions. The managements refusal to investigate or honor the complaints from me and other fans for the actions of two unruly fans. The first, a fan of [redacted] descent performing racially motivated acts at MCU Park that has offended those of [redacted] and [redacted] descents which management has refused to warn or expell him from MCU Park completely, which the General Manager himself is also of [redacted] descent.. The fan continually tries to instigate a problem with me, possibly for me to get kicked out in retaliation to his stupidty, which management has told me "No, I won't warn him" and other fans "ignore him", in regards to his behavior. The second is a fan notorious for creating several phony[redacted] page accounts, created a phony [redacted] page of me under the name [redacted] with stolen pictures of me and took unsolicited pictures of me walking around MCU Park. I bitterly complained to Assistant General Manager and not only was I not granted a refund but I was being told to stop being a tattletale! A police report was taken at the 45th precinct in the Bronx although far more harsher measure should be taken being that Internet Impersonation using social media is a violation of New York State Penal Law Code 190-25. The management team is General Manager [redacted] and the Assistant General Manager is [redacted]. I forewarned these men several times in the last 2 years of the stupidity and the changing environment of MCU Park in general. Not getting involved in the [redacted] hoax was the last straw and I'm now placing full blame to the Cyclones for not being pro active and doing their job to protect me and other fans who has complained about the same issues. Simply put, if they don't care, I don't care and I decided to mail the unused tickets back to them for a refund and I refuse to attend another Brooklyn Cyclones game unless severe changes are being made or they're forced out of their jobs. Lastly, the reverse racism that goes on in the place has got to stop! When their statue was vandalized, they couldn't wait to run to the media to complain about racism. Yet, when a [redacted] fan pulls of racially motivated acts angering fans in the process, the answer I get from fans including two Security Guards is the same, "they allow him to act like this because he's [redacted]! He will never get tossed out." I will take far more harsher measures until complete change is made for all fans to feel comfortable. I will pass along scanned evidence of what's described here in a few hours.Desired Settlement: Either a rversal of the $90.00 charge to my Debit Card made on May ** for purchasing a Boardwalk Mini-Plan or a refund of $66 for 7 tickets that was sent back to the Cyclones after I decided to stop attending their games because of the incidents

Response:

[redacted] purchased tickets to Brooklyn Cyclones games. Per his letter 3 games (August [redacted]) were purchased as part of a fundraiser for $4. These tickets were purchased from a Third party and not from the Cyclones. Automatically these tickets should be removed from the complaint as they were not purchased directly from The Cyclones.

In regards to his issue with other fans both in the ballpark there has never been an altercation that we are aware of. [redacted] just doesn't like the person he is referencing and is bothered by his being. There is not much we can do as an organization in that case.

[redacted] himself has been banned from our [redacted] page for innapproprate Posts. Typically he doesn't like other people's opinions about the baseball team's performance. I can't say what's going on away from our FB page but we aren't able to control that and shouldn't interfere with his attending games-as he said people are posting about him under "phony" accounts. I'd be happy to credit [redacted] $54 towards single game Field Box seats next year ($66 less $12 for Fundraiser tickets) since he was unable to attend the 3 games left in his plan. If he doesn't want to accept that under no circumstances should he be refunded money.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The Brooklyn Cyclones organization are complete liars!!! They have been forewarned SEVERAL times about the individuals I spoke in that ballpark! I have the warnings for this past season printed out! As for [redacted], the Cyclones organization has proven again to be only interested in covering their behinds they ARE the root of the problem! Just a few days ago, the very person I spoke about [redacted], who two years ago I had a dispute with on [redacted] because of him using multiple accounts and threats and insulting comments to me, the other day was taunting other fans and mention my last name [redacted] as a maniac, while using the names [redacted], and his own name [redacted]! Last year, I spoke to [redacted] personally about the other fan [redacted] who walks around with a cowbell and disrupting the enjoyment of watching games for other fans. His answer was a loud "No", when I asked to give him a warning. 10 people, which includes 2 security people has stated to me that "[redacted] won't do nothin because he's a [redacted]" in those exact words!

Meanwhile, I received info from the Rockland Boulders stated that their cowbellman was banned from their baseball stadium because of numerous complaints from other fans. Now, if the Rockland Boulders felt the need to ban a fan for misconduct at a ballpark, why can't the Brooklyn Cyclones do the same. THEY ARE LYING!!! This has been addressed SEVERAL TIMES!

I was 50-50 going to games in 2013 because of this nonsense they allow. They run to the every member of the media pleading victim and racism when the Robinson statue was vandalized. yet, when it came to someone of their culture acting like an [redacted], nothing was done. I will settle for nothing less. Either I get the $90 transaction or $66 ticket refund from them, or I will seek other measures. But one thing is for certain. The Brooklyn Cyclones are NOT they portray to be and the only reason why they did not adhere to my complaints is they deliberately want me to get into a physical confrontation with someone or either of those I spoke about. They let the ballpark and they [redacted] page run amok with GARBAGE! In my opinion, the Cyclones organization is that also! Sorry! Refund or there will be more!

Review: I had purchased a "Dinner With Larry" ticket package for the 7-**-15 baseball game at the Brooklyn Cyclones. The ticket was promoted as an up sell "You'll have a chance to meet Murr, Sal, Joe & Q and watch some of the game with them from the lap of luxury." The team's website clearly promoted (have screen shots of it) that guests of the suite would have the opportunity to watch the game with the stars of the TV show The Impractical Jokers in some form of "luxury". It sounded like a once in a lifetime experience. We drove 1,200 miles round trip from North Carolina to come to the Brooklyn Cyclones game with our VIP ticket. So this was supposed to be a great time for my daughter to celebrate her birthday. When going into the suite, my daughter was told only 22 people were going to be in the room, and had purchased the "Dinner with Larry" package was something very special to have. That seemed comfortable and a good amount of people to have in the suite but by the time my daughter had left the suite at 5:30, due to overcrowding, there were close to 45 people in the suite. My daughter, along with her other friends in the suite, were baffled on how the experience was in the so called "lap of luxury." When the Impractical Jokers had come into the room, it was pure mayhem. My daughter was trampled on, shoved, and all she could take were "selfies". She had no time to speak with any of them and she became so overwhelmed she left the suite crying in the 3rd inning. There was no room in the suite to the point that my daughter either had to sit on the concrete floor or on the lap of her friend. She was so frustrated that she left in the 3rd inning. Two words describe the promotion... FALSE ADVERTISING with clear a bait and switch strategy. Last, but not least, after repeated attempts to communicate this issue with the team have now gone on deaf ears.Desired Settlement: Simply refund me my $130 (includes processing fees) for the false and bait and switch advertising.

Review: I purchased 8 tickets for Brooklyn Cyclones game for July *, 2014, which was promoted as "family Day." The"family day" promotion was $20 per ticket plus fee and included admission, hot dog, soda and a Cyclones baseball shirt. Upon arriving with my family which includes my two young children and two young nieces, We were told that they did not offer kids size shirts and that they only had adult large and Xtra large. My children were extremely upset that they would not be getting the shirts that everybody else was getting, that I told them prior to the game that they would get, and what the "Family Day" pay one price promotion was supposed to include, my children were so upset, as some children their age would be, we had to leave the game early. That same day I contacted The Brooklyn Cyclones Organization and explained to their representitive that the tickets were purchased with the understanding, as stated by the ticket promotion that we would all receive a team t-shirt, that the shirt was not suitable or acceptable for any children. I was then transferred and left several messages with the person in charge of stadium promotions, but received no response. I repeated this process several times but continue to get the run around on the phone.Desired Settlement: I would like 4 shirts, in children's sizes, my children are 5yrs old and require children's small shirts, my 2 nieces as well require children's small shirts, that would be 4 children small Brooklyn Cyclone shirts. In addition I would like a refund and/or tickets for a future game totaling the same 8 tickets I originally purchased for the July [redacted] game but was forced to leave as consequence of inconvenience caused by the fore mentioned issue. Thank You,

Business

Response:

Although we do pre-order a variety of sizes to try to accommodate everyone, selection of sizes is on a first come first serve basis. unfortunately we ran out of the smaller sizes quicker than normal we weren't able to give [redacted] the sizes he preferred. We will reach out to him and try to remedy.

Business

Response:

I spoke to him directly and we reversed the charges but it takes 7-10 business days for the person to see the reversal. September * will be 10 days.

We don't guarantee sizes with this promotional offer and since most people take larger sizes that's what we order most of-unfortunately we ran out of the small sizes when he picked up his shirts.
