Here at Brooklyn Bowl, we pride ourselves on providing the best possible guest experience possible, every single dayIt is something we like to think separates us from everyone elseIt is always troubling to hear or read of a guests experience that is less than positive and leaves with a negative experienceWe have very thorough training for all of our staff including the members of our security teamA training that includes but is not limited to guest interaction; communication and interaction with the guestsAre security main responsibility is maintaining the safety of the venue, the staff and especially our guestsAlthough, I cannot speak to this specific incident, our room presents a lot of unconventional challenges and because we are a full service restaurant, lane bowling alley AND person capacity music venue, we have certain areas of the room that are not general public accessed (mainly areas designated for staff)We take complaints like this very seriousWe instruct our staff to politely inform guests which way they can go if they are heading in these restricted areasWe will certainly follow up on these allegations and take the necessary actions if it discovered that anything but our courteous and gentle approach was administered in this specific situation

This is regarding an experience that occurred on The staff was *extremely [redacted] rudeThe security manager/ bouncer went on a power trip with me I've never been treated so poorly in my lifeI've been physically push / hurt I was here to work (!) I was working for the artist performing that night He asked his staff to force me out because I was arguing with him that he should be more polite with people actually working with the Brooklyn Bowl It took me a year to actually post this review because I've been traumatized

I have never been treated so poorly than by the staff at this establishment Was removed from the facility for trying to wish my friend a happy birthday over the mic No band was playing Stage was empty Fine, you can 100% kick me out of a bar if you feel I overstepped my bounds but what happened next was completely unacceptable I was completely manhandled, dragged out the back of the place and literally THROWN INTO A CAR I am a 130lb, year old woman who was PICKED UP AND THROWN I have bruises circling around both my arms, and a massive bruise on my shoulder and knee where I hit the vehicle I called the cops immediately, there were plenty of witnesses, and the whole thing was caught on their security cameras When the police arrived all the security/staff who had dragged me out and thrown me were no where to be found, and a manager who wasn't even there nor knew anything about what had happened was questioned instead Because the police could not see any abrasions or visual evidence, they said they were unable to do anything I have always thought this place was a horrendous establishment but this was on a whole other level Now that I have proof of the abuse I've suffered, I am going back to the police with pictures I have never ever been treated so atrociously I was literally assaulted by the staff at Brooklyn Bowl

Review: The location advertised for an 8 pm performance of band. The band did not begin to perform until after 10 pm. I understand this to be a fundamental breach of the agreement we made when I purchased the tickets. I asked the manager for a refund for that reason but was denied any sort of accommodation. (8/**/15 performance.)Desired Settlement: Change advertising practices to reflect accurate performance times. Refund my ticket costs ($40, 2 tickets).

Review: I attended a concert at Brooklyn Bowl last Thursday evening. I left the stage area to find the rest rooms and noticed a walkway seemingly leading to the foyer on the other side of the bar that leads to the stairwell to the restrooms. I started walking that way when a Brooklyn Bowl employee grabbed my upper arm, spun me around pushed me back toward the direction I came. I said I was looking for the rest rooms and asked why he grabbed me and he said "then go that way, then." I sent an inquiry to Brooklyn Bowl for clarification last Friday morning and have not heard back in days. The employee is a civilian and not permitted to touch, grab or use any force on customers, especially over something as trivial as mistakenly walking toward the bowling area instead of toward the bar while looking for a restroom. Brooklyn Bowl should post their policies in their venue or upon ticket purchase if their employees are permitted to touch or grab customers. Regardless, that was unnecessary and I am shaken up enough to avoid Brooklyn Bowl at all costs.Desired Settlement: Please provide an explanation for this behavior or a policy document that explains what is expected of Brooklyn's Bowl's employees.
