We repaired the skipped stitching as discussed with the customer and received confirmation from her on April [redacted] that it was to her satisfactionAt no point did we accept to replace or recut the items because it was not necessaryWe also covered the costs of shipping the repaired items in both directionsThis customer is upset because we informed her after producing the final production run that we would no longer be able to work with her for financial reasons (her product and quantities are not viable for our production set up, which she was informed of during our initial discussions but we accepted to help her despite this) It is my belief that the issue is mainly due to the fact that we returned all her materials and stopped the working relationship, since we repaired all the damaged items as was requested. Also, the initial request for this complaint was that we cover the cost of shipping to and from the customer, which we did, and showed evidence of in our first response All other complaints have been frequently discussed with the customer via email and we have notification of her acceptance of the corrections

The customer is requesting that we cover shipping costs to return goods for repair by issuing a shipping label and that we cover the costs of returning the repaired goods back to her at our expenseThis was doneThe customer is also claiming that we were unwilling to accept responsibility for the
return of the goods, however we were in constant communication from the initial delivery of the goods all the way through their returnWe agreed to repair all unacceptable product and offered to cover the costs of returning the goods to her post repairSee timeline belowMarch ***: customer confirmed size and weight of the box for return in order to be issued a label March ***: a shipping label for the return of damaged product was emailed to the customer at our expense April ***: all product was corrected and returned to customer at our expense April ***: corrected goods were delivered to the customer April ***: customer approved the look of the corrections via email *** ***Director

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]
Clothing was repaired and appearance is not the issue.  Oversewing a item of clothing can cause it to break down.  Manufacturer refused to re-make the underwear and cut corners by repairing them. This is overstitching the clothing which causes breakdown in fabric with normal use.  I did not hire them to make it just look good. I hired them for quality sewing. Any designer, pattern maker, manufacturer and sewer knows that the quality of sewing is imperative over it's looks.  Approving the appearance isn't all that is needed.  Again, this is something that is a known issue in clothing manufacturing.I did not approve of the sewing- ie. over sewing of the 31 pieces returned to me repaired. Tara St. J[redacted] repeatedly refused to address the re-making of the underwear.  She refused to address the over stitching - over sewing issue.  I haven't heard from anyone above Tara St. J[redacted]. A good manufacturer would address the quality of sewing, not the " looks" "appearance" of the time.  If it falls apart, what good is it?   Complaint is not satisfied.  It was just covered up and tried to be passed by.
