Brooklyn Mitsubishi Reviews (18)

Brooklyn Mitsubishi is amazing I didn't have Great credit and I needed a big all wheel drive vehicleThey took all of my credit into consideration and they gave me an amazing interest rateThey really are the best now I love my LRThanks [redacted] and [redacted] , Ill tell Everyone About you!

I have researched this issue and shows that we sent out the first Registration to the costumer’s address , of which they claim to have never gotten it We placed a rush order for the costumer on and we received the registration to the dealership and have received it days after on and have contacted the costumer and asked them if they wanted it mailed or if they wanted to come pick it up They opted to pick it up and chose to take two additional weeks to pick up the registrationWe are deeply sorry for the inconvenience it may have caused the costumer, As you can see we have tried our best to rectify as soon as we couldThank you and have a great day [redacted]

The worse For those of you reading this, you will regret buying or leasing anything from them As I write this review, I still have tears in my eyesDecember **, I walked in Brooklyn Mitsubishi to trade in an Acura that I purchased from them years ago with a high APR, to get a Lexus GS with a lower APR since my credit was good( never been late on any payments)I was excited since the Lexus was the one I've been dreaming about for the longest and they had it (white, with red interiors)I was specific, and didn't anything elseI was upside down on the Acura's car note because they over charged and my APR WAS HIGH, So initially I had to put 6k down And I didn't want to put anything down, so they told me that they will add the 6k to my car note for the Lexus So far so good hours later, I was ecstatic driving away with my new baby who I named snow, and saying good bye to my old car (the Acura) since I traded the car in One month later I received a call from the capital one auto finance company in which I had the Acura in, and was told I was late on a paymentWHAT!! I've never been late I explained to capital one auto finance representative the situation and they said the car is still under my name, so in the mean time while I'm working on resolving the case that it's best that I make payments so the Acura won't have a repossession under my name which can stay on my credit for years and I need to call the dealership (which I did)The dealership went on and on how it can take weeks to have the car removed out of my name and just wait a little longerNOTHING weeks later I called again and they claimed I never traded in my car and they have my Acura in their lot waiting for me go pick it up What !! When was that the deal? They basically threatened me to pick up my Acura and leave them alone after I went to their office to settle the car situationMy credit dropped points by then because I was now days lateI was devastatedLuckily I pray on a daily basis and my friend who knew about the situation told me to call consumers affairs (which I did) and they took care of the situation for me Brooklyn Mitsubishi had no choice but to respond to consumers affairs even though my case manager was being avoided countless of times when they knew they were going to lose the caseEventually my case managers supervisors had to get involved, and and in the end (months later) I was told that the new offer was to just return the Lexus which I loved and they will pay the car off, as well as they will return my Acura back to me Pretty much the transaction never happened It did happen and my credit is messed up Fighting right now to fix my credit and get a new car Right now, since I gave my Acura away to my friend who is now paying off the remaining balance of my car note

After doing the research and speaking to everyoneinvolved it was stated that Nick and Andreas spoke with the customer and hadasked him to please fax in the estimate from his mechanic or bring it in. They had told him it wasn't a problem to tow the truck in to check out
thecomplaints on the estimate. On July *** we checked out the truck and thecustomer denied to continue any of the recommended work, do to the customer'srequest to get a different estimate from his mechanic. After trying tocontact the customer after his initial statement about the dollars indamages we were unsuccessful in contacting him to bring the vehicle in toinspect the complaints on the estimateI still do not have a copy of theestimates and a chance to overlook the vehicleThe purchase was made inFebruary and these concerns didn't appear until five months after the purchase, and I still don't have an estimate to look over

Possibly the worst dealer I have ever dealt withNo wait, it is the worst dealer
Found a used car on their lot online for a great dealContacted them, and we were exchanging emails and phone calls for the first few daysI requested the credit app, then they didn't respond for almost a weekRequested it again, and they finally sent one outFilled out the credit app and all my other information
Next days I get a call from the salesman Matthew K*** (who I've been dealing with), asking me for the same information that I filled out in the credit appWhat was the point of me filling the credit app then and wasting an inquiry?
So then I had to wait another dayNo updateContacted him and he said he will have more information for me first thing in the morningNo updateI repeatedly had to update the email or call requesting for more informationEach day I was given an excuse, with the addition of "I'll update you first thing in the morning" Excuse after excuseJust stalling timeI then get alerts on my credit report that they ran my credit SIX TIMESTheir manager called and told me they only ran it once which was baloneyI called the credit bureau and they confirmed that they did indeed run it six timesSo then you can add the lies indays later, they still don't have an update on my credit app
Also, whenever I would ask for more information on the car, they would ignore those questions and just go straight into discussing the credit app
I have NEVER waited or more weeks just to hear basic information on the APRAll dealers I have dealt with in the past only took a day or less than thatI finally told them to cancel my interest in the carThough it was a great deal, I could not deal with dealers wait times and lies anymore
I am currently disputing all credit inquiries

Ok, sorry for the delay but as promised we have cut a check for the full $3,amount made payable to the lien holder Ally Financial Check # is *** You may want to give them a few days to receive and clear the check Please let us know when the issue is finalized
Thank you again for your patience. Cordially, Theodoros MT*** Chief Operating Officer Brooklyn Mitsubishi

The worse .. For those of you reading this, you will regret buying or leasing anything from them .. As I write this review, I still have tears in my eyes. December **, I walked in Brooklyn Mitsubishi to trade in an Acura that I purchased from them 2.5 years ago with a high APR, to get a Lexus GS 350 with a lower APR since my credit was good( never been late on any payments). I was excited since the Lexus was the one I've been dreaming about for the longest and they had it (white, with red interiors). I was specific, and didn't anything else.. I was upside down on the Acura's car note because they over charged and my APR WAS HIGH, So initially I had to put 6k down.. And I didn't want to put anything down, so they told me that they will add the 6k to my car note for the Lexus .. So far so good .. 12 hours later, I was ecstatic driving away with my new baby who I named snow, and saying good bye to my old car (the Acura) since I traded the car in . One month later I received a call from the capital one auto finance company in which I had the Acura in, and was told I was late on a payment.. WHAT!! I've never been late . I explained to capital one auto finance representative the situation and they said the car is still under my name, so in the mean time while I'm working on resolving the case that it's best that I make payments so the Acura won't have a repossession under my name which can stay on my credit for 7 years and I need to call the dealership (which I did). The dealership went on and on how it can take 3 weeks to have the car removed out of my name and just wait a little longer.. NOTHING . 2 weeks later I called again and they claimed I never traded in my car and they have my Acura in their lot waiting for me go pick it up .. What !! When was that the deal? They basically threatened me to pick up my Acura and leave them alone after I went to their office to settle the car situation. My credit dropped 100 points by then because I was now 60 days late.. I was devastated.. Luckily I pray on a daily basis and my friend who knew about the situation told me to call consumers affairs (which I did) and they took care of the situation for me .. Brooklyn Mitsubishi had no choice but to respond to consumers affairs even though my case manager was being avoided countless of times when they knew they were going to lose the case. Eventually my case managers supervisors had to get involved, and and in the end (5 months later) I was told that the new offer was to just return the Lexus which I loved and they will pay the car off, as well as they will return my Acura back to me .. Pretty much the transaction never happened .. It did happen and my credit is messed up .. Fighting right now to fix my credit and get a new car Right now, since I gave my Acura away to my friend who is now paying off the remaining balance of my car note.

Hello [redacted],   I spoke to [redacted] on Thursday Feb. [redacted]. 2016.  She had purchased the vehicle under the name [redacted].    The issue at hand is that she is under the impression that she purchased the 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer for $35,567 and not the...

$20,557.   I told her she is looking at what the car "will" cost if she pays the monthly payments for the full term but she did not purchase the car for $35,567.  It's the same as buying a house for $500,000; by the time you're done paying your 30 year mortgage you would have probably spent $1,000,000.    She then said that she was under the impression that her insurance would be cheaper and I said she can always try a different insurance company like [redacted] or [redacted].   [redacted] then followed that up with "[redacted]".   Apparently, [redacted] has visited a Honda dealer that is telling her she could've got a much cheaper deal on a Honda Civic.     Cordially,     Theodoros M. Review: My wife and I have financed a SUV, Gmc Envoy two weeks ago. When we had gotten there we was told of the Envoy and how the price would suit our budget. The sales person told us that the deposit would be $200 but when we got to the sales managers desk, she asked us are we ready to give the $800 deposit. We told the manager that the sales person, [redacted], told us $200 but he didn't say anything, so we had to agree on the high amount. (Please look over the reviews on about this location on [redacted], the negative reviews. We're experiencing the same thing) But the actual complaint is that they told us that a part for the drivers side door ( which consists off operating the drivers side window, heated seated, seat controls, operating both side mirrors and most importantly proper function of the vehicle alarm) was already on order and would be in in a few days. Basically we've been getting the run around about this part since then. Also the vehicle carpet smells which hasn't been taken care of. This is sooooo annoying that if this continues we will have to give the SUV back to them. We're waiting for the vehicle registration to come in the mail but since we've been waiting for this part like this, we don't expect a timely delivery of the registration. The temporary registration expires at the end of December. PLEASE HELP US!!! ###-###-#### & ###-###-#### is our contact numbers.Desired Settlement: If they can't get the part for this SUV, then we request another SUV withers the same monthly payment amount or less.

Review: The car needs maintenance work which, Is covered under the two years contract they gave us with the purchase. The manger at the shop by the name of Nick is very rude and short with my husband. He almost got into a physical altercation with my husband for not fixing the windshield wiper correctly. Its just been an uphill battle with this place. It was easy for them to make the sell, but very hard for them to give us service. This August will be a year since we purchased the car.

Please help us.Desired Settlement: I would like to leave the car there and for them to do a thorough inspection of the car and fix all the issues they see and the ones that we experience when driving the car daily.

Hello, My name is Steve S[redacted] from Brooklyn Mitsubishi and I am writing about complaint ID [redacted]. I have attached a zip file with all the Repair Orders for this costumer, as well as spoken to all the service managers and mechanics to find out what happened. I am only interested is serving our customers properly so I investigated further only to find out that almost all the work that was done for the customer was covered by the warrantee company, and [redacted] when he crashed his car. The issues seem to have really started there due to what appears to be an unsatisfied coverages from [redacted], he wanted two headlights because one was shinier than the other, of course we explained that the insurance company didn’t approve two headlights , they only approved one due to the fact that the other side was not affected by the accident. When MR.B[redacted] came for the windshield wipers, Nick, the service manager had advised him that it is not a warrantee item and that he would have to pay for it and we would gladly install it. MR.B[redacted] quickly lost his temper and couldn’t understand why everything wasn’t free almost a year after he bought the vehicle. There was no confrontation from my employees except to calm the MR.B[redacted] down. As I have mentioned I have attacked a zip file showing you all we have done. Can you please advise me on how to respond or if what I have written here , without the names for Identity reasons, will suffice can I post it ?

Review: Me and my best friend bought a car from Brooklyn Mitsubishi on December *, 2015. After realising that we were given wrong information and not the deal we were offered we ended up paying way more for the car than what it was worth, they lied, forced to sign without explaining the contract or telling us what exactly we were signing for just put us under pressure filling out information and getting us to finish the contract faster than usual. They told us the car would be worth a certain amount and when the first payment came it was like we were paying for a more expensive car. Which is unfair cause I could have gotten a better car instead.Desired Settlement: Wish to return the car due to the wrong information we were given and go somewhere else to purchase a car with right information given

Possibly the worst dealer I have ever dealt with. No wait, it is the worst dealer.

Found a used car on their lot online for a great deal. Contacted them, and we were exchanging emails and phone calls for the first few days. I requested the credit app, then they didn't respond for almost a week. Requested it again, and they finally sent one out. Filled out the credit app and all my other information.

Next 2 days I get a call from the salesman Matthew K[redacted] (who I've been dealing with), asking me for the same information that I filled out in the credit app. What was the point of me filling the credit app then and wasting an inquiry?

So then I had to wait another day. No update. Contacted him and he said he will have more information for me first thing in the morning. No update. I repeatedly had to update the email or call requesting for more information. Each day I was given an excuse, with the addition of "I'll update you first thing in the morning" Excuse after excuse. Just stalling time. I then get alerts on my credit report that they ran my credit SIX TIMES. Their manager called and told me they only ran it once which was baloney. I called the credit bureau and they confirmed that they did indeed run it six times. So then you can add the lies in. 2 days later, they still don't have an update on my credit app.

Also, whenever I would ask for more information on the car, they would ignore those questions and just go straight into discussing the credit app.

I have NEVER waited 2 or more weeks just to hear basic information on the APR. All dealers I have dealt with in the past only took a day or less than that. I finally told them to cancel my interest in the car. Though it was a great deal, I could not deal with dealers wait times and lies anymore.

I am currently disputing all credit inquiries.

Review: I haven't received my registration in the mail, nor this dealership hasn't received it either. I called the main [redacted] office in [redacted] and they told me that in their system, it hasn't been processed yet. I don't know why they haven't processed the paperwork. I guess when I complained to them about a part that took forever to receive. If retaliation is what they are doing I told them I will take my vehicle to them, take my plates off ( the registration expires on 12/**/14, I can't afford my [redacted] license to be taken away from me) and walk away.Desired Settlement: Only to receive my registration and after that I don't have to deal with them again, EVER.

Review: I have purchased a used car for from this dealership and brought it in to be fixed. I've been to the dealership multiple times to have maintenance done on the car and nothing has happened. A few problems I ran into when I got the car was I had a leaky back right rear tire and told them to fix it, there was a bad knocking noise in the rear of the truck, and many others. Evreytime I try to calll and get in touch with someone at the dealership about bringing the car back and receiving my money back, and for the dealer to take it back but no answer. So I had to go in and miss multiple days of work to see these guys. The ultimatum was that they told me there was nothing they can do for me. Now within the past few months I had brought my car to a near by shop that ive been going to for a while and the gentleman had told me its going to cost you about $5000 dollars to fix all the issues such as the ones mentioned before and more which wasn't brought to my attention by the dealer. This car is going to cost me so much more money to replace the parts which should have been taken care of under my warranty. I personally had to replace and alternator and belts to this vehicle. I called the dealer to get it towed there and the work to be done but no answer. I believe I have been ripped off and scammed by this dealership and only have the car for six months and put 4000 miles on it and I owe about $18,000 on, but with all the repairs its costing me a fortune. This vehicle is a money pit. My sales person had told me when I was purchasing the vehicle that he would get my insurance lowered by giving me a certificate that would make the monthly payments go down due to a speeding ticket. He said it would take a month to get and im currently still waiting on that. Please help me!Desired Settlement: I want my money back and for them to buy back the truck from me. I never want to deal with them again.
