the second week of december 2013 I contacted brooks and company hair salon to make an appointment with [redacted] the hair stylist. I called twice on different days before she actually returned my call days later. finally had a consultation and asked ms.[redacted] if I needed to bring in hair for the style I wanted, she replied "no". december 18th had my hair done and I was not satisfied. I called back to the salon to try to get in. I felt like since I was unhappy an effort should have been made for me the unhappy customer. I was told ms.[redacted] would be given the message and she would call back. she never bothered to call me back to reschedule. after not hearing from her I emailed the salon and never received a response. jan 2 I called the salon and asked to speak to [redacted] the owner. I first spoke with her mother who after I asked for a refund, informed me that they didn't charge me for everything. I told her I paid exactly the price you told me to. weeks later in my opinion is not the time to bring that up. next I spoke with [redacted] and she said my only option is for her to redo my hair. I told her that at this point I am too uncomfotable to come back in.I feel that this business really treated me unfair and dropped the ball on communication, professionalism and customer satisfaction. I feel the the very least they can do is refund my money. I paid a lot of money not to be happy and not given any follow up. I have been the communicator. that is not good business. I even asked the owner how would she feel if someone treated her this way and she said she wouldnt like it so I asked what makes you think I do.Product_Or_Service: hair style, relaxer, treatment, added hairDesired Settlement140.00(120.00 for the service, 20.00 for the tip). I wasnt given any choices or suggestions. I was just left hanging. I made every effort to at first try to resolve and work with the salon. it was not reciprocated.
