Brooks Auto Service

Im new in town and I took my car to Brooks auto for an inspection sticker. My car ran great but they called me back and told me they didnt do the inspection because it would fail and I needed 2,300$ worth of work. I came down there and sat with the owner who tried to explain to me what this work was and He he told me I would not be able to pass inspection anywhere in the state under any circumstances unless I had the work. I explained I needed the car for myself and my wife for school and not having out car would devastate our lives for those reasons. He stood his ground so I left and went to the next place in town and I passed with only paying 16$ for a bulb. I'm still upset about this and I feel like they take complete advantage of the fact that we need the sticker or otherwise our vehicles are worthless. Very dissapointed
